Very good place to stay during the winter for cross country skiing. The shop is near the chalet and ski routes are very accesible by foot (10min). Bus is also possible to go to lillehammer and ski station. The village is very calm and nice.

Simple, tidy, and straightforward. Exactly as described.

Very helpful and friendly host. Answered all our questions. Instantly provided firewood so we could light the wood-burning stove. Cozy cabin and short distance to Hafjell. Beautiful view to ski area.

Nice spacious cottage for two people, good beds, nice veranda. Vidar welcomed us very kindly and took immediate action in case of leakage at the bath. More was within walking distance, great for swimming, but unfortunately the weather was not good, so we didn't.

We made a stop at Hege on the trip to Norway. Everything was great, Hege and her husband are very nice. Super quiet location. We'd love to come back.

We had a really lovely holiday in the spacious and nicely decorated house. We highly recommend the house. Easy communication with the owner, and clear instructions made the holiday easy and convenient.

Everything was very good. It's just a cabin with 3 beds in it. It's perfectly sufficient for sleeping. Everything clean and tidy. Storing luggage before check-in was no problem on request, and the next day Ruben even showed me a nice viewpoint and drove me to the train station. Solid accommodation and a very loving and open host. I am highly recommended it! :)

We enjoyed our stay at Linda’s place, very nice and calm. It was very convenient and practical for our long weekend in Ål area. We hope that we will come back!

We came for a relaxing weekend and hiking and we had absolutely great time. House is perfect, cosy and authentic, we loved it. It is made of very supreme materials and very well decorated. Elena was a great host 😇 We would like to come again.

Amazing place, beautiful surrounding, fully recommend!

We have stayed at this location for the 4th year, we love Ole’s style of decorating and his hospitality so much! This year we stayed in this smaller cabin and not the large house. This place is cozy, fits 2-4 adults easily in bunk beds. The dining room is beautiful, and there are art pieces and antiques everywhere. Ole remodeled this blacksmith’s shop himself, and turned it into a to this masterpiece. He also made some of the furniture in the unit. The kitchen is exquisite, although could use seating area for hanging out with the cook during cooking meals :-). The grounds are impressive, will share it with 3 other AirBnB rental cabins/house. The Finnish sauna is perfect in the barn, and the views of the valley are gorgeous! We will be back every year, since this place will stay vivid in your dreams all year long!

The cabin was really cosy and nearby a beautiful lake where we spent most of our after dinner evenings. The washrooms are clean and the water pressure is really good for a nice refreshing warm shower. We loved the place and would stay there again. Thanks Steinar for hosting us!

The last place available in the area for that night, but probably one if the best. A truly unique accommodation. And very warm.

Very cozy cabin in a nice cabin area. The cabin is spacious and convenient. Ski tracks close by and gravel road for walking. Stone is nice and responded quickly to message. We would be happy to come back later😊 to others as well

The bedroom with 3 single beds has a ladder behind the door, we didn’t find it at the beginning, so we had a session of practice our climbing skills :) would be nice to have a note about where the ladder is. We had a great time at the cabin, very beautiful and cozy cabin! Everything went well!

We had such a great time at Snøhetta Camping! We did the mosk ox tour which was amazing. The hut was very cozy and we slept so well in the bed. Marit is a great host, friendly and helpful. We highly recommend staying here!

Super nice cabin and fantastic hosts! Perfect location: easy to get to the downhill ski slopes but also for cross country. We had a very nice stay!

The cabin is very centrally located in Kvitfjell Vest, only 4 minutes skiing to the large chairlift. The cottage is generally spacious with large living room/kitchen/family room on the ground floor. On the first floor 4 bedrooms, where the 2 are nicely sized with a double bed, while the other 2 are with a bunk bed and quite small. We thought the cabin was a bit dim with dark colors, and the lighting could have been better. But the view was nice, the fireplace was good, etc. The host Lovise was very service minded and responded quickly and was helpful. So we can recommend the cabin to others.
