Fjellsyn is located 1110 m above sea level and is a beautiful log cabin/granary on Haugastøl, with a stunning panorama view overlooking Ustevann and Hardangervidda National Park. Hallingskarvet is seen to the North. Here the sun is from early morning to late evening. The cabin has Rallarvegen and magical Hardangervidda as the closest neighbor. There is a short distance to Geilo and Ustaoset in the east, and Hardanger in the west. The cabin has nature right outside the door, and you can use the countless trails and tracks in the area

There are five buildings on the farm that are from the 1800s. Sauefjøset was renovated in 2023 for rental. There are two double beds (150 cm) - one downstairs and one upstairs on the loft.
