Holiday rentals with beach access in Handewitt

Christiane is always friendly, the room is very cozy and very clean. Quiet location, you hardly notice that you are in the city. The beautiful city center, the white beach, the train station and the other sights are easily accessible in about 5 to 15 minutes. I felt very comfortable here. Thank you for everything. The apartment is very tasteful and equipped with all necessary items. The view over the harbor is fantastic. Restaurants and a small shopping area are within walking distance! Sabine was a great hostess in every way and we hope to come back again!!!

We had a very enjoyable stay at the beach cottage. Anne welcomed us warmly and was very helpful. The apartment is set up in such a way that we could enjoy a nice breakfast outside:)

We can't get our arms down at all after our stay with Helle and Peter – what a wonderful place! Already upon arrival, we feel that every detail is fussy: fresh flowers and decor are thoroughly cozy and very “truly warm” … You are greeted with warmth and hospitality, and the feeling of being very welcome will accompany you throughout the stay. The place is idyllic and scenic located – both for relaxation and excursions in the lovely area and not least a wonderful opportunity for a morning dip in the crystal clear water Here you get high quality for your money and we're confident we'll be back. Had a wonderful time at the place! The apartment was cozy, clean and exactly as described – a real feel-good place. The location was perfect, quiet yet well connected. The view of the sea directly from the balcony was a dream! The communication with Anna and Jan was super friendly and straightforward. I immediately felt welcome and was able to switch off properly. We finally found a vacation apartment where we knew after a few seconds that we would come back😍. The apartment is super cute, there is so much storage space, bed and sofa are very comfortable, everything that is needed is available. If there was a Sodastream, you'd be in a hotel! The location is great, from the living room/balcony you can look at the Baltic Sea and you are very quickly at the market square and thus also at the beach. It was very clean!!! The landlady, Ute, is so warm, quickly accessible and is right there for problems/ questions. We give 1000 points for the stay and look forward to next year🥰

Nice place near the center of Aabenraa. Easy and flexible check-in with lockbox. Good instructions before arrival so it was easy to find. The stairs to the apartment are very steep and Ejner definitely not for the elderly or anyone who are unsure of their legs. (it said it was steep in the description, so we were prepared for it). The bathroom occasionally had a sewer similar smell. The dampers in the shower stall had a few moisture stains and deposits of lime. Everything worked as it should.

everything meets expectations

A week was way too short! The apartment is so cozy that you don't really want to leave. But the sea and an eternally long beach/coast with many great stones, shells, fossils drive you out. There are also many sights nearby and further afield for all ages. An all-around nice place and great hosts who thought of everything. Gladly come again!

The apartment in Gråsten was lovely. Nice and clean. Good and proper communication with the host.

The place is great. Everything was as it was described. We felt right at home and would like to come back again. The house was clean, the amenities top and the garden beautiful with plenty of privacy. The area is delightful and offers plenty of variety for everyone.. both culinary and activities. We've been there for the second time. It was just as beautiful as the first time. Except for the weather... :) But also very cozy in the rain.

The house is very tidy and clean, the lake view just at sunset is beautiful and everything you need is there. The kitchen equipment is very good, rarely experienced so well in Airbnbs. Overall, the whole house is very modern. The hosts are very friendly and easy to reach. However, shopping and everything else can only be reached by car, but the entire area is very quiet. Clear recommendation!

Steffen's house was perfect for us. Set back from the sea with a gorgeous view over the countryside with occasional visits from some cows in the next field. The beds were comfortable, the shower was powerful and it was spotless.

Traveling alone, 60+, May/June 2025, 5 days, without a car. Perfect for the first half of the Gendarmen Path, with local buses or rental bikes (in Grasten ;). Net directly in the picturesque village. The apartment really had EVERYTHING you could need. Very modern, artistic, cozy, Danish. Lajla was always available for questions and exchange by email (or cell phone), but everything was so well explained and directed on site that I could simply get into the holiday pleasure. Would come again:)

We had a very nice stay. The apartment leaves nothing to be desired! The beach is within walking distance and the beach chair was great. Communication was fast and reliable. We would book again and again :)

We were there for the second time and felt right at home again. We were particularly grateful for the flexible check-in time, so we had the opportunity to check into the apartment earlier. The apartment is super clean & equipped with everything you need. We were there without a car and got everywhere easily by bus and on foot. Ella & Stefan were very friendly and accommodating and were personally on site upon arrival & departure. :) We will be happy to come back.

We had a very nice week in the apartment. Everything was perfect: from the apartment to the hosts, the area and also the weather. The best part was the winter garden with a direct view of the harbor and the fjord. The terrace, the private carport with gazebo for storing the bicycle. Everything in excellent condition. The furniture in the apartment is lovingly assembled and of high quality. The same applies to the technical equipment. All in all, we had a very nice vacation and will be happy to come back!

Cozy apartment with fantastic views of the water. Great area for walks. Quiet location with good distance to Sønderborg, Augustenborg and the area's attractions.

I stayed with my 4 year old son for 3 nights. We felt very comfortable, the apartment is centrally located directly on the beach promenade with a view of the dyke. Everything was as described. Torge is a very good host who always supports you with the most important information. We will be happy to come back 🙂

We had a great stay, would book again.

We spent the turn of the year in Schönhagen with peace and convenience. The apartment is located not far from the beach and is equipped with everything you need. We used the sauna in the basement to ourselves. The place is a good starting point for numerous excursions, especially even in warmer weather by bike. Thanks to Jan for the nice welcome.
