Hemsen is at full standing and has direct access to a private bathroom, kitchen and LARGE living room with sofa corner and dining table. Here you can completely disconnect, enjoy the tranquility and nature just outside the large windows. The sofa in the loft can be turned out to the sofa bed. We really enjoyed our stay at Helle and Bent’s place! The room was cozy and the place’s location was convenient for us to visit Silkeborg and neighbor towns. The dinner and the breakfast were made from fresh vegetables, fruits, meat from their farm and the taste was amazing! We recommend you to visit their place. We will definitely go back to their place!

A very nice place to stay at, with added bonus of breakfast. We got good tips regarding local sights and activities and Pernille was very helpful with all questions an requests we had. Things that are good to remember is that it is in the countryside so a car is (more or less) a must, and the bathroom is shared with other guests (a 2nd bathroom is in the works).

Jens is a great host, very friendly, easy-going a communicative, it was a pleasure to spend some time with him during the breakfast. The accomodation was in a good, calm location but really close to a train station. We had our own rooms with nice comfortable beds, bathroom and even a washing machine and dryer. We definitely recommend Jen's place to everyone.

We were a mixed group of 7 people and visited DK because of the ice hockey World Championship in Herning. The connection to the stadium was super easy and reachable in 30 minutes. The accommodation at the "host mother" Merete was PERFECT! Very clean - Very friendly - Very helpful - Very accommodating!!! This place is recommended. The breakfast was excellent and sufficient, with fresh homemade bread, scrambled eggs, homemade liver pâté, etc. We would book again in a heartbeat... THANK YOU Merete ;)
