My apartment is situated in the trendy “Prenzlauer Berg” neighborhood. The apartment is on the 1st floor (Amer. 2nd), facing the quiet inner yard, well lit through two large French windows. The view features a restored factory and studios. The studio area is 40 square meters in size, contains a double bed, a mini kitchen containing everything to chill and cook. The studio has a lucid corridor and a luxury bathroom containing a shower and bathtub and underfloor heathing. The entire apartment is 60 square meters in size and tastefully furnished, mixing modern and classic design notes. Fast internet is available. The neighbourhood is very well liked and one of the trendiest in Berlin. Bakeries, coffee shops, bike rentals, public parks and a supermarket are in the immediate vicinity. The world renowned “Mauerpark” with its many attractions and flee market (on weekends) is 15 minutes by bike. The street is nonetheless quiet, situated between two large boulevards, with fantastic public transportation to the ariports as well as other central landmarks, and quarters, such as Alexanderplatz, the East Side Gallery, Mitte, Friedrichshain etc. You can walk to the Kastanienallee und Alte Schönhauser Allee, two hip shopping boulevards. A lot of young people live here, I am sure you will love it!

Hier erwartet Dich ein Mini- Apartment (18qm) mit allem was man für einen Aufenthalt von ein paar Tagen braucht. Bett, Küche und Dusche sind offen gestaltet und sorgen dafür, daß man sich nicht eingeengt fühlt, trotz der wenigen Quadratmeter. Das WC hat eine eigene Türe. Gelegen im 4. Stock eines sanierten Altbaus in der beliebten Winsstraße, eigener Eingang und Aussicht nach hinten ins Grüne (kein Aufzug). Auch wir wohnen in dem Haus und helfen gerne bei Fragen oder mit Tipps.

The vacation rental is located on the 1st floor of our two-family house. We live in the lower apartment and have a large garden which can be used in summer by arrangement for relaxing and barbecuing. Our 5 hens usually deliver so many eggs that we would be happy to give some away. The view to the north overlooks the small Stienitzsee. Not far from our garden is a public swimming area on the small Stienitzsee on Seestrasse.

Breakfasts and dinners on the terrace overlooking the forest and bird chirping are wonderful, Margot's garden is a small oasis, and the bathing lake is within walking distance. We'll be back!

A real insider tip! The accommodation is located in the middle of a charming small town, just a few minutes' walk from a beautiful lake – perfect for walks or simply to unwind. The hostess is not only super sweet, but also an exciting personality with whom you immediately feel comfortable. The home itself is anything but mainstream: individual, furnished with great attention to detail, incredibly cozy and ideal for relaxing. Despite the quiet location, you are super connected - from Erkner train station (6 minutes by car) the regional train takes 15 minutes to Ostkreuz in Berlin. So you can quickly get to Friedrichshain and be in the middle of Berlin life. If you're looking for something special, this is the place to be. I'd love to come back!

Arne was a fantastic host, very understanding; there was mishap with the keys, my fault, which caused a little chaos and he was very relaxed about it, which was a relief. Besides that, the flat is really nice, very well thought through, it felt like a very personnal space yet cosy for a visiting guest. The cats are gorgeous and very sweet..!
