Very good shopping is within walking distance. In the district town of Itzehoe you are 10 minutes away by car, 45 minutes to Büsum and Hamburg is easily accessible by bus and train.

Of course, "Lotta" has enough water to wash and cook. Cooking is done over a wood stove. In the summer it's unfortunately quite warm, so the good "Lotta" gets a solar oven.
