At 950 m, the Wasserkuppe is the highest mountain in Hesse and offers a wide range of leisure activities for the whole family (skiing, sailing and paragliding, summer toboggan run, climbing forest, etc.).

From the windows to the courtyard, the border mountains to Lower Franconia can be seen, e.g. Dammersfeld, Beilstein and Eierhauck. From here, many well-known excursion destinations can be quickly reached. For example, Wasserkuppe, Kreuzberg, Fulda, Bad Neustadt or Würzburg, as well as hiking and bike trails. Horseback riding is possible in the neighboring village.

Zur Verfügung stehen stehen neben dem Zimmer mit Doppelbett, ein kleines Bad und eine Miniküche ( ohne Sitzgelegenheit) mit 2 Herdplatten (kein Backofen), einem Kühlschrank (kein Frostfach), Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Toaster, Mikrowelle und Geschirr. With us you have it quiet but still close to the city.

Our café serves breakfast weekdays from 6 AM and on weekends from 7 AM.

At the foot of the Frauenberg, right on the river Fulda, we rent out a vacation apartment in our historic water mill that was renovated in 2021 with up to four sleeping options in two separate bedrooms. Located on the outskirts of Fulda, the city center can be reached on foot (about 20 minutes) or by bike. Our large farm also offers free parking. Shopping can be reached within a 2-minute walk. On the farm, there are two lively, friendly dogs.
