Earth house holiday rentals in Japan

This old house in a quiet mountainous area is for one group per day with 2 meals. Pick-up and drop-off at the nearest station is included.

Our house, where you can enjoy the slow flow of time in the midst of seasonal nature, is limited to one group per day (8 people in summer and 6 people in winter) and includes two meals, dinner and breakfast. This 150-year-old house is a family-style inn. We are unable to accommodate single guests. Guests have access to a 15-tatami (24.3 ㎡) bedroom and a 15-tatami living and dining room. The small village in the small valley has few cars, so you can fully enjoy the fresh air of nature. All bedding is Japanese-style futons. Wake up to birds chirping and the sound of the river in the morning. The bath is a Goemon bath full of Totoro's world view. Towels and toothbrushes are provided, but please bring your own pajamas. My house is located at an altitude of 810 m, so you can stay cool even in midsummer. In mid-June, you can see the largest firefly colony in Japan, and it is the busiest season in town. We will pick you up and drop you off at the nearest station, Tatsuno Station (10 minutes) and the Chuo Expressway Tatsuno SA (15 minutes) by car. We are immigrants from 2016. Please leave it to us to consult with you about moving and share our experiences. Naraijuku, Lake Suwa, Takato, and Matsumoto Castle are about 30-60 minutes by car, Yatsugatake, Kamikochi, and Obuse are within 90 minutes, and there are also other mountains such as Senjojiki, Keigatake, Kiriwamayama, and Utsukushigahara.

Chion-no-Ie is a private rental accommodation in Onna, Okinawa, limited to one group per day. Earth bag architecture decorated with colorful mosaic tiles, and furniture that takes advantage of the warmth of wood. You can spend a peaceful time in the mysterious curved space. In the garden, we grow seasonal flowers and herbs. There are harvest baskets and scissors, so you can pick and enjoy, or cook in the simple kitchen. There is a home theater and audio set, so you can bring your own DVD/Bluray, iPhone, iPad, Switch, etc. and enjoy movies, games, and live streaming on the big screen. We also rent musical instruments. Coffee and tea sets are available. You can also enjoy herbal tea with herbs from the garden. Please enjoy a relaxing time.

If you want to enjoy art, this House is perfect, still under being painted by the famous Artist, picture book writer, SEIZOU TASHIMA, this house is the Supreme Eco & Earth-friendly . Breakfast is included in your stay. If requested, dinner can be served for 2,500 yen with a drink per person included. (Children's rates are discounted depending on age) We can also provide vegetarian and gluten-free meals. Additionally, the majority of the vegetables we serve are home-grown and pesticide-free.

Tida House (Hand-made strawbale house!) ティダハウス

We are at country site surrounded by potato fields. You can stay at self-builded straw bale house. We have two singl beds, and very simple cooking facilities, toaster, microwave oven and a refrigerator. Tida House is good for remote work! You can watch movies by Netflix. Scandinavian-style wooden house for only one group

This Solar Energy House is in the quiet residential area 3-minutes-walk from Zenkoji-Temple. It's very comfortable, using natural material insulators. Hosts live on the second floor and the entire first floor is for guests. The main entrance is shared with us and guests can ask anytime. Enjoy the relaxing wooden interior and solid wood floor.
