There is a kitchen with stove, oven and refrigerator, a shower room and bedroom with double bed and TV. In the immediate vicinity is a small lake. The rural quiet location is ideal for a break, bike tours and inline skating, but also offers a good starting point for trips to the North and Baltic Sea or to Hamburg, Kiel and Glückstadt.

Very good shopping is within walking distance. In the district town of Itzehoe you are 10 minutes away by car, 45 minutes to Büsum and Hamburg is easily accessible by bus and train.

The Horster ElbAlm

My ElbAlm stands for real picture book country life. Nearby there are cows, chickens, donkeys and fields. And the tranquility, too, of course. Why ElbAlm? The Elbe and the dike can be reached in 15-20 minutes by car. Here you can expect a real beach and a delicious snack and suitable refreshment is available here in summer. Hamburg is also 30 minutes away. In about 3 km away is the Horster train stop. Here is a parking lot and bicycle parking.

Shepherd's wagon "Lotta"

"Lotta" is a typical shepherd's wagon without electricity and running water. "Here you get the opportunity to relax from media, internet and smartphone!" Of course, "Lotta" has enough water to wash and cook. Cooking is done over a wood stove. In the summer it's unfortunately quite warm, so the good "Lotta" gets a solar oven.
