Cottage holiday rentals in Lake Travis

Cute little cottage with a ton of amenities right outside of downtown Wimberley. The location is great because it’s quiet but close enough for a 3 minute trip down the road to restaurants and shops. I’d recommend cabin 1/white because your porch with hot tub is very private. Everything was very clean and in excellent condition. I’d definitely stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful stay if you want to get away for a bit! Very private, the room took my breath away!! The bath was amazing! The room stayed cool, it was the cleanest Airbnb I’d been walked in to ever!! Definitely recommend staying here!!

La Grotta was a beautiful stay. The place looked exactly like the photos. The pool and hot tub were an added amenity that my friends and I loved. If I travel back to Wimberley, I would definitely choose this place to stay again!

This location can’t be beat! We enjoyed the convenience of walking in the square and never having to drive anywhere. The backyard feels very private despite the location which was great for relaxing.

We stayed for a fishing tournament and there was ample space for our 2 families. It was awesome having the screened in porch, and we loved sitting on the dock watching the boys fish. We didn’t cook while we were there, but the kitchen had everything if we had chosen to. We will definitely stay again if we have another tournament at Lake LBJ!!

This property is so beautiful. We were looking for a place to getaway from the city and Isabels place was perfect. So much love has been poured into this property. Our son ( 2 ) loved the playground and digging in the dirt at the creek, but most of all he loved the dog. I enjoyed quiet cups of coffee in the morning and chaos of my little one all day. Plenty of toys inside and entertainment for us outside. It was the perfect Fathers Day weekend..my heart is so full.. thank you for sharing this beautiful place with us.

We had the absolute BEST experience staying at this perfect little cottage near Dripping Springs! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The home is small, but every inch of it is so thoughtfully designed and impeccably decorated — cozy, charming, and truly picture-perfect. It felt like stepping into a dream. The outdoor space was just as incredible — inviting, peaceful, and so comfortable that we honestly didn’t want to leave. We were supposed to be attending a retreat nearby, but we found ourselves wishing we could just stay at the cottage instead! The home was spotless, stocked with everything we needed, and the owner communicated flawlessly, making the whole process easy and welcoming. We can’t recommend this place enough and are already dreaming about coming back. It’s truly a hidden gem!

Cozy place, ideal for a near but not in Austin getaway with friends. Very clean. New fluffy towels. Peaceful surroundings, however we were there midweek and never saw any neighbors so that may be why. Loved it was pet friendly for our pup. The one bedroom has a door that goes to the fenced in back yard which was super convenient. And the back porch was perfect for morning coffee or just to unwind in the evenings.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay with Nick. He was responsive and helpful throughout. The location is in a quiet neighborhood not far from downtown, the Domain and rest of central Austin. The house itself is as pictured and has some fun Austin charm including a cute koi pond in the back yard. Would stay again!

Absolutely incredible experience! Cindy's guest barn exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning Hill Country views that stretched for miles. The barn itself was beautifully decorated, combining rustic charm with modern comforts. Cindy was the perfect host, incredibly welcoming and attentive to every detail. She made my family feel right at home, which made our stay even more special. The pool was amazing as well, providing a refreshing escape with a view that's simply unbeatable. Waking up to the serene landscape and enjoying coffee on the porch was a highlight of our stay. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with breathtaking scenery, this is the place. The cottage is just steps away from the river, which makes for a perfect morning walk and evening to unwind. The Jacuzzi bathtub is relaxing. We had a good time fishing.

We love staying at the Cozy Cottage when we come to visit family in Johnson City. Sandi is always accommodating and a pleasurable host. I will definitely return back and stay at the cottage.

The house was very cozy - just the right amount of space for us (a couple + 1 dog). Location was wonderful, a quick walk to all the great restaurants and shops on South Congress. Neighborhood was also great, perfect for walking the dog and surprisingly peaceful given the activity close by on Congress. Huge H-E-B was a short drive away, perfect for grabbing groceries, water, etc. Hosts were very responsive and proactive. Would absolutely stay here again next time we are in Austin!

There are so many things to enjoy about Jessica's place! First, the accommodations are comfortable and more than adequate--we felt right at home--and the place is so private and quiet--you can sleep as late as you like. But even more exciting, the Boggy Creek Greenbelt is just a 5-minute walk away--running in the park every day is divine; there are fab eateries and cafes just down the street, such as Fabrik; and then the downtown is just a car ride away! Finally, the best part is Jessica: helpful, down-to-earth, enthusiastic and so very thoughtful.

Francisco and Alma’s place is a hidden gem in the hill country. The exterior of the property is beautiful and well-kept. I sat outside on the front porch every morning to have my coffee and was accompanied by the tranquil sounds of nature. The place itself is pretty spacious with updated appliances and a mostly equipped kitchens for cooking. A few more plates/bowls would be nice. The living room area is great for lounging and watching tv but the couches are quite small. Overall, my parents, pup, and I really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back the next time we’re in the area. Thank you Francisco and Alma for hosting us for our weekend getaway!

Beautiful, clean and well decorated. This Air BnB was the perfect stay for our weekend. There were many small amenities that made sure we were as comfortable as could be away from home. We would absolutely stay here in the future and highly recommend this to anyone traveling to Austin!

Was the perfect place for a weekend in Georgetown! Had everything we needed in a convenient and comfortable location. Pam was responsive and really helpful is accommodating our baby as well!

Megan and Nick were nothing but welcoming to us. They were very quick in their communication as well as response to our requests. We were able to check in a couple of hours early and when we had a chirping smoke detector they took care of it right away. The cottages were very nice and the beds very comfortable. We loved it!

Everything was perfect! The location was just right. I loved sitting on the patio in the mornings, listening to the birds and watching the deer, hummingbirds, and squirrels play. We were only a few minutes away from everywhere we visited, but it felt private here while surrounded by trees and nature. Once you get into town, there's a lot of people and things going on, but Nanette's is a perfect retreat to enjoy peace and relaxation. Everything was clean and just a described. I definitely recommend this place for your next getaway. Places near by that we recommend: Wimberley Marketdays, Wimberley Valley Winery, Wimberley Cafe for breakfast, and Creekside for dinner and drinks. I'm so glad we found Nanette's getaway and hope to come stay here again. Thanks!
