Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lewes

We spent the weekend at this beautiful home with our young adult children and their significant others. There was plenty of room for everyone to hang out or to be alone. The porch was amazing, we loved the sunrises. We made lots of yummy meals/desserts and the kitchen had everything we needed. The house is private but still close enough to activities, if you really wanna 😉

we had a great stay, a beautiful home with a nice hangout area outside. perfect location off the main road and quiet but close enough to get to everything quickly. will definitely be back again on our next beach trip!

The condo is as pictured. Excellent layout & space. The elevator is convenient. The area and grounds are well maintained. Surf Bagel is less than half mile away, and Nassau Vineyards (highly recommend) is walking distance. The kitchen is ample equipped to prepare meals at home, if so desired. The sun-room/nook was a wonderful space to have coffee and catch up on some reading. Cape Henlopen/beaches & downtown historic Lewes are about a 15 minute drive. A great choice for a local stay.

There are many nice features about the rental. Being by the Beach, the living spaces are on the second and third floor, so the dumbwaiter is helpful to transfer your luggage items to the top floors. With board games, bumper pool, shuffle board, arcade, 2 TV areas, large dining table and roof deck, there is plenty of entertainment in the house and plenty of nooks for everyone to occupy. All the bathrooms are inside the bedrooms except one. Roof deck has a great view of sunrise and sunset. On the ground floor, there are beach chairs, wagon, and kayaks available. We were there for Memorial weekend and horseshoe crabs were supposed to be beaching to mate at high tide, but unfortunately we didn't catch them at the right time. We still saw plenty of crabs and collected plenty of shells. The beach access is easy and feels so private. we love being away from the crowd. Rehoboth, Lewey, and Cape Henlopen state Park are only a short drive away for half day excursions. We all loved this trip!

Had a wonderful stay at Heather’s place! The home was super clean, well-organized, and had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend. Every space—from the bedrooms and bathrooms to the living room and kitchen—was thoughtfully maintained and cozy. The hot tub was definitely a highlight! Heather was also incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had a great time. Joshua’s house was clean and well stocked. The kids liked the quiet street and because of limited travel on the street they played baseball and football. Close enough to the beaches and the eating establishments on theCoastal Highway . Hope to return again.

This is a great property! The house is gorgeous, the grounds are clean, kept and very private. The house was fully stocked with kitchenware, pool accessories, & decorated tastefully. A lot of delicate artwork and intentional decor- (if traveling with a young child, one needs to watch them closely :) Re: the beds- my 7 year old described it as “sleeping on clouds!” - very comfy! The area is close (2-3 min) to outlet shops and a bunch of restaurants on Costal Highway 1 and about a 6 min drive to the Rehoboth pier. It’s also a central location to other neighboring beach towns.

We had the best get away! Eileen may be the best host we have ever had! We are lucky to have another trip booked in this beautiful house later in the summer. The whole weeoend was so relaxing, and peaceful.

This is a great place to stay if you are looking to a peaceful getaway within walking distance of the beach, downtown, and the farmer's market! The pictures are accurate and the condo is stocked will all of your cooking essentials! The host is very helpful and super sweet!

Cute little place! We stayed for less than 24 hours while my husband participated in the "Escape the Cape Triathlon," so we didn’t get to enjoy it fully, but it was exactly as described and very clean. Parking was a little tricky, as our unit was in the back and the front unit’s vehicle was blocking the driveway when we arrived. Normally, I would have knocked to ask them to move it, but since we had a super early 5:30 AM checkout, we just parked on the street. Street parking is free, you just have to be lucky to find a spot nearby, which we managed to do twice. The walls are pretty thin, so you can hear people talking or walking around upstairs, but it wasn’t overly loud or disruptive. Best part? It’s only about three blocks from the boardwalk—a great spot for an evening stroll and some ice cream. Overall, a great little place for a quick stay in Cape May!

John’s place was nothing but a wonderful stay and week-day getaway! John was very kind updating me with details and any questions I had. The location is perfect and is a 7 minute walk to downtown! I will definitely be returning back to his lovely place soon!! Thanks again John!

Brooke’s place was fantastic for a weekend getaway with friends. It is steps to the beach. Super clean and exactly like the photos. It was a quick and easy to check-in. All instructions were straightforward. Brooke was very friendly and responsive in the weeks leading up to the trip and during our stay.

Great hosts. The condo is just as described and the pictures match the reality. beautiful decoration, comfortable beds, well equipped, near Dewey beach and Rehobot, parking in front of the building and very cozy ambiance. I’ll recommend this place and will be back!

The condo was perfect for our family of 8. It is much larger than the pictures let on. The deck was big enough for all of us to comfortably sit and chat - and Julie has plenty of patio chairs and two tables! Everything was super clean, no clutter, lots of space to spread out and not be on top of each other. The location is perfect too! Quick walk to the beach and some shops. Bus ride can easily take you down to the boardwalk or restaurants you can’t walk to. No need to move your car once you are here. We enjoyed this stay so much we are planning on returning next year. Teresa's place was just the break we needed from busy city life. We will certainly revisit her place again. Thoughtful decor with connection to nature throughout the home. Very responsive host.

it was nice to be kind of like in the woods, but only minutes from THE BEACH 🤩⛱️

We booked this house for our 50th wedding anniversary to celebrate with our two daughters, their husbands, and our 5 grandchildren. The house was perfect for our needs. As she described, it was 5 houses to the beach, and there were sufficient beach equipment that came with the house. We were all impressed with how well appointed the house was, particularly in the kitchen. While we enjoyed gathering in the common areas, there were several areas (glassed porches and balconies) where one could retreat for private time. We also enjoyed having crabs on the table on the ground level below the house. On the few occasions that I texted Anka she very promptly responded. We would definitely stay here again, but would more than likely arrange beforehand to have access to the elevator for ease of moving luggage to the bedrooms on the first and second floors and groceries to the second floor kitchen. Thank you Anka for sharing your lovely home with us.

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home! It was clean and comfortable. My family felt right at home. There were beach chairs, paddle boards and even crockpots available for our use. The pictures online do not show the beauty of this home. Would definitely recommend to stay in this home.

We had a nice stay at this beautiful and modern airbnb. The location was perfect for walking to local restaurants and the view of the ocean from the living room was lovely. I will say, that after paying both a cleaning fee and a service fee, in addition to the cost of the airbnb, it did feel a bit ridiculous to be instructed to strip the beds and start the laundry, amongst other household chores, before checking out. We appreciated being granted a 1 hr late checkout for this reason. Having to do dishes and laundry all while checking out by 10am would’ve been an inconvenience. Not enough to subtract a star from the rating, but definitely worth noting for future guests.

Our family enjoyed our vacation and stay in Judie’s home. She was a very responsive host throughout our stay. The home had everything we needed and more- which made things very convenient for us. The kitchen was well equipped, the rooms were all comfy and cozy and very clean. Bathrooms had all toiletries including makeup remover! We literally did not need to pack any towels from home because Judie had everything! We traveled with two kids ages 3 and 4 so the fact that she had beach toys and chairs for them and a wagon in the garage for us to use was very convenient. It was overall less things I had to worry about packing. We love the Bishop’s Landing community pools; the one pool is within a short walking distance from Judie’s home. The location to stores and restaurants are easy and quick as well. This is our second year staying in Bishop’s Landing and we hope to be back again. Judie’s home would be at the top of our list.

Our first trip to Cape May was great including our stay at Ashley's and Chris! It started with a flexible check in time after reaching out to Ashley and Chris. Their house was clean, the hot tub was excellent, and the quiet neighborhood was a great break from our trips to the beach and Wildwood. I would definitely recommend staying at their place for any family!

Our family stayed here for our spring break and had a wonderful time. Anthony’s home was incredible, beautifully maintained, and well-stocked. It is evident the moment you step inside, that every detail was thought of. The hot tub was AMAZING!!! and our dog enjoyed the big fenced yard…such a perk! We appreciated the binder with a list of favorite activities and restaurant menus…LOVED Fish & Fancy!!! Best crab cakes and Old Bay fries :) The home is within 15 minutes of both Cape May and Wildwoods… great location. Thanks so much your time and attention in making our trip truly memorable. We’ll definitely rent this house again!
