The house is close to the forest, which is filled with beautiful lakes, and it is a 3-minute drive from Silkeborg's most beautiful lake, which you can see in the pictures. There is grass + outdoor areas, and the house has two bedrooms, a large living room + conservatory, kitchen, hallway, bathroom and toilet. There is WiFi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to enjoy peace, nature experiences, socializing and lovely conversations!

Bus connection to Aarhus outside the door. Easy access to E45 as well as Herning motorway. 5 min to Lyngbygaard golf and 5 min to Aarhus Aadal golf club.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. We offer a cozy house, originally from 1890, which we have renovated with a gentle hand. We have a nice, functional and fully equipped kitchen. Play one of our many board games or enjoy our cozy garden. The house is located in a small village, but close to a larger city, Kjellerup (4.3 km), with some shopping opportunities. The house is centrally located in Jutland, close to the beautiful towns of Viborg (20 km), Silkeborg (20 km), Aarhus (52 km), Billund (80 km).

The home is located right on the highway but has soundproofed windows. But noise from traffic is to be expected - especially on weekdays and at harvest time. Ever dreamt of a cabin, forest and lake to yourself? The family will stay together in one big room with single and double alcoves. Patio goes all around the house and gives a magnificent view of the lake. It also leads to the tree house; fully equipped with bed, workstation and Wi-Fi. Rowing boat available year round, late spring to early autumn 2 SUP boards and 3 kayaks available (please inquire). 15 min from town centre and groceries. Sleeps 8, more comfortable for 6. Fishing on your doorstep!

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

On the edge of Limfjorden

Welcome to our guest house at Årbækmølle - on the edge of Limfjorden. Here you can enjoy the silence and the view, while having a good base for the many activities Mors and the surrounding area can offer. The guest house is part of our old barn from 1830, and contains history from a time of unique building constructions. Therefore, you will find here old walls in cobblestone - carefully renovated and modernized over time.
