Granary on a Lamafarm

Our place is an (300yr) old granary, taken down from the mountains and rebuilt here at Lamawanderland with lots of love! You'll find yourself in the middle of the countryside on a farm we like to think of as a Peaceful but quirky place, inviting a sense of relaxation and homeliness. Our region "the Mostviertel" is located in the beautiful foothills of the Alps, where fantastic hiking and biking routes are easily accessible by car. Stift Melk and the Wachau region are also close by.

Living "in the middle of the field"

Our small 60 m² apartment offers you everything you need from the interior - in addition to a great view of our local mountain, the Ötscher (1898 m), but also in the idyllic landscape of the Mostviertel. Through the windows, which open up to a direct view of the neighboring fields and forests… Our location is very quiet on the one hand, on the outskirts of Wieselburg-Land, on the other hand it is only 5 km to the Ybbs west highway entrance. The surroundings offer a varied program!

Willkommen bei „Gast auf Erden" – dein Rückzugsort am Waldrand in Hollenthon, Niederösterreich. Abends an der Feuerstelle im Garten, morgens barfuß in den Wald, mittags mit einem Buch aus der Bibliothek: Der bewusst reduzierte Haushalt ist Einladung zum echten Ankommen. Weniger Zeug, mehr Leben – so einfach und so schön. Für Paare, Familien, Wanderer und alle die Stille suchen. Im Umkreis von 15 km: Therme Linsberg Asia, Burg Kirchschlag und Wanderwege ins Bucklige Welt.

Ideal getaway cabin Feel yourself and nature. In the vicinity are the 3 Lunzer lakes, the Ötscher-Tormäuer Nature Park and beautiful mountain and hiking routes! Cycling enthusiasts will particularly like the Ybbs Valley cycle path. With canyoning, rafting and Flying Fox, adventure seekers are not left wanting. In the surrounding restaurants, inns and taverns you will be spoiled with culinary delights. Access to the cabin is possible by car via a gravel road.

Flat in an old farmhouse

We turned an old stable into an apartment. We tried to preserve the atmosphere of the place. The flat is located in the courtyard of a renovated old farm where we are living ourselves (parents and 2 children). The area is called the Wagram, 3 km away from the Danube and around 50 km away from the center of Vienna. Our two cats are also part of the family;you are welcome to interact with them. However, they are not allowed in the flat :-)

It is always something special to cook, barbecue, celebrate or laugh together at the big table or on the terrace with the big family, with another friendly family, or with your own friends. A beautiful house made of pure wood close to the Semmering and Stuhleck ski resorts, close to the Schneeberg and Rax hiking areas. Bicycles are available free of charge.

Time out from everyday life

Komfort und Entspannung im BLOCKHAUS auf der Waldlichtung. Auch Hunde sind herzlich Willkommen. Frühstück ist im Preis nicht inkludiert bei Bedarf bitte um Rücksprache. Für NÖ-Card Besitzer, aber auch ohne Card, liegen wir sehr zentral zu diversen Ausflugszielen wie Sonnentor, Arche Noah, Kittenberger Erlebnisgärten uvm. Das Haus lebt, daher sind Geräusche (z.B.: Holzwurm) und Tierbesuch (z.B.: Marienkäfer) möglich.

Our old, former farmhouse is located in Burgschleinitz, a pretty village with a medieval moated castle, Romanesque church, Gothic ossuary and lots of nature between the forest and wine district near Eggenburg. Bicycles, e-bikes, canoes, kayaks, fireplace, grill, sand playground, table tennis and sauna. And Josephsbrot, perhaps the best bakery in Austria with a cafe. We look forward to it!
