Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lucca

The backyard with the large lawn area and swimming pool really was wonderful for our two grandchildren (boys 3 and 7). Very quiet neighborhood. The property is set back significantly from the big road Viale G Puccini, so you hear no traffic noise. It is about a 12-15 minute walk to get inside the City Walls. The walk area is a shared bike/pedestrian path so we felt comfortable walking with our 3 year old. But watch out for the bicycles! Only one big street crossing with a signal and the main traffic intersection close to the city walls is serviced by a very nice pedestrian underpass. But the City of Lucca and the City Wall is the big attraction. If we were only adults inside the City Walls would be our choice, but this is a great overall compromise if traveling with small children. Easy enough to get to town but with a countryside feel to the location. And Giancarlo and staff were very helpful when we locked ourselves out of the house in the backyard!

A very well-kept structure with attention to detail! In addition to complete cleaning. The directions were clear and the location is good for traveling by car between Liguria and Tuscany. Street parking in front of the entrance gate, quiet area with the charm of the river. The description of the structure is accurate, so the only thing I would point out is that it may not be very suitable for those who have problems climbing stairs, as it is arranged on three levels.

What a fantastic place and location. Tranquil, stunning views, located perfectly to explore the local area. Lots of character; quaint and quirky. As hosts Isabella and Claudio were amazing. Always helpful, friendly and very responsive when we asked them about places to go to. Apartment was located at the very top of the village and provided us with stunning views whenever we ate outside. Fabulous BBQ area and a great choice of outdoor seating. Highly recommended.

Hands down our favorite part of our two weeks in Italy! Casa Al Poggio was our Tuscan home away from home. We went and did all the things… Florence, Cinque Terre, San Gimignano, Montepulciano, etc. But coming “home” to this place was the best. So peaceful and picturesque looking across the valley at the Badia Di Passignano. We cooked many meals in the well stocked kitchen and my husband loved the rustic BBQ. Fresh herbs in the garden and the smell of jasmine blooming on the patio. Book yourself extra time here…you won’t want to leave! Emanuele & Tamara are the kindest people. Take them up on all of their restaurant recommendations. Everyone one was a hit! We can’t wait to go back.

We enjoyed 4 magical days in Gloria's beautiful home. The gardens are exceptional and there are so many lovely spaces to enjoy the view! Would highly recommend to any future travellers. We met both Francesco and Gloria and they couldn't have been more helpful!

Beautiful accommodation! Quiet and cozy! Don't be surprised there's no air conditioning. The house is insulated and has thick walls. At 35 degrees, we didn't need air conditioning. Her relatives live in the house next door and are always ready to help! There's a wonderful garden with fireflies and geckos!There are insect nets😁 everywhere. The road to the apartment is very winding, but it is also very beautiful. Just six kilometers from the highway. 20 km from the beach. There are shops nearby (5-6km). Gas stations on every corner. We highly recommend it. Vodafone's range is not very good, but there is a router in the apartment. With two bathrooms and two toilets! Clean and tidy! Our family is very happy! I highly recommend it! Two days of relaxation and peace. Beautiful place. House equipped with everything. Small but at the same time, spacious apartment. The bed is very comfortable. Beautiful area for walks. Obviously, you need a car to get to the sea. The only flaw, if you have a big car, is that you can't get directly in front of the house because the road is narrow. But this was communicated in advance. We had no problem. Thank you very much Maria Victoria for everything. We will definitely be back. Greetings also to Shaggy, the house dog. Very nice.😍

We had the best week in Nada’s home with our friends who travelled from Australia. The villa was so cute and cosy and had everything you would need. Nada is a great host who was very responsive and extremely friendly, it was just a shame we didn’t get to meet her in person. The main highlight for us was when Viola (Nada’s daughter) came to the villa and did a cooking class with us. It was fantastic and one not to be missed! We made bruschetta, homemade pasta and sauce and a lemon tiramisu. We made pasta and bruschetta literally every night after as it was just so good. From the villa we travelled around in our hire cars and saw the delightful towns/villages such as San Giginano, Certaldo, Siena, Greve in Chianti, climbed up the hill to Montefioralle, Radda in Chianti, Volpaia and the local village of Barberino Val D’Elsa. I highly recommend you visit each as all close enough for a day out it combine a couple in a day. You will not be disappointed at Casa Di Nada. We loved it 😊

I really enjoyed my stay. Love the family. Love the property. I had it booked for two months and found out that since I was going towards Spainish visa I have to go back to Spain and complete 183 days per year. Italy was not included in my stay. But, I had a wonderful time at his home. It was great feeding their pet chicken. Everyone including Nona was helpful and Lorenzo also and the daughter. I would definitely go back. My Service Dog Willow loved the yard and neighbors. The only thing that was bad was the weather. It was so hot I felt like I was going to pass out sometimes walking back uphill. But, then again I’m 65 years old and now I know to come back in cooler weather or only go out between 6 am to 11 am. Or wait until nightfall. The rates are great if you rent for the entire month. And thank you for maintaining the yard So beautiful. We both loved it. Thanks again to all the family. 😘

Hidden gem with spectacular views. Very friendly and supportive hosts. Cozy getaway with everything you need. Off the beaten tracks but close enough.

Wonderful place!!! An accommodation that seems to come out of a storybook. Many details that make the comfort and affection of Elba and Fabrizio to their land. From the attention upon arrival, its aromatics for the use of passengers, an impeccable pool and all the garden and children's games. A wonderful way to get to know La Toscana. Despite the language barrier, they were the first to use the google translator. A place to stay for several days

Clara was responsive and helpful. She was there to meet us and help us with parking and walked us through the entire house. She was wonderful. The space was perfect with a wonderful patio. Totally would recommend.

Although there were a couple of issues with one tv and the washer dryer, Teona, Ivanna's property manager was always responsive and followed up to see that issues were resolved. We thought that the apartment was very beautiful and the neighborhood felt safe. It was quiet, and some of Ivanna's recommendations for restaurants were pe.rfect. We wouldn't hesitate to come back

Paola’s place was perfect for our stay! In the heart of downtown but on a quaint side street, super close to the action but still felt like we had a peaceful escape. Tons of great restaurants right at our doorstep. Paola was a gracious host and was always reachable for questions or recommendations. 10/10 experience!

It was a perfect place! The surrounding natural scenery was beautiful and the accommodation was very comfortable. There was also a private garden, so I enjoyed breakfast there. Breakfast service is not provided, but bread, biscuits, jam, milk, and water are provided as a basic service. There were all the tableware and seasonings such as olive oil and balsamic vinegar, so it was convenient to cook. Two of us stayed, but it was easy to wash because there were two bathrooms. It was nice to be able to use the washing machine without restrictions. It was also close to major cities such as San Gimignano and Siena, making it a perfect location for walking around. If I go back to Tuscany, it's a place I want to visit again.

Our easter holiday at Corrado's place was WONDERFUL.It's a welcoming and clean typical mountain chalet....Who loves to nature & calmness...Above all our children had great fun with his beautiful garden... Corrado has done his best for us.He is a available & courteous person...As a host he is perfect!!And it was a remarkable vacation!!!!

God is in the details. Il Grande Prato is a wonderful place that offers you al the comfort you wish : a huge domain with several nice spots to sit, chill and enjoy the great views. The garden, the cottages, the pool, everything is well done with an eye for the details. Giulia and her people are very friendly and helpful and make you feel at ease the whole time. Also the dinners we've enjoyed in this unique setting were fantastic.

A little corner of paradise in the middle of the woods. The wonderful cottage, the large and well-equipped garden, perfect for both humans and dogs, surrounded by peace and tranquility. Silvia always available for any questions. It was 3 regenerating days. Everything was perfect!

Check-in was very chilled and spontaneous. Great to reach and a really likeable guy. We were there with our motorcycles and Ricardo took great care to make sure everything is safe and even brought tools over a small breakdown. The house in itself was rustic but very appropriately furnished. There was everything from pots and pans to sheets and towels. It is and remains a small, rustic cottage in Tuscany. What more could you ask for? Our troupe would come back any time. Thank you for the nice stay!

Nice place to relax , avoiding crowd and having the best , relax and possibility to visit cities near by

A small chalet and its garden with swimming pool ideally located in the heart of Tuscany, the cities of Pisa, Siena, Florence and Lucca are more or less 1 hour away. Nicoletta and her father gave us a very warm welcome! They are adorable and very attentive, if you need anything they respond very quickly! the pool is maintained every day and therefore of absolute cleanliness, what a joy to be able to relax there after a day of visiting in the Tuscany heat, then enjoy your dinner on the terrace overlooking the beautiful daily sunsets! the cottage is clean and contains everything you need (if I want to chip it would be missing a few small things in the kitchen with a few extra cutlery and a bowl or two for example, but it would just pass from something very nice to great, so it's really if we are looking for the little beast) and the air conditioning is very nice. Thank you for this wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our stay in Benabbio for 2 weeks. We came for peace and good weather and we got it. The cottage was perfect: it was very private, the view was beautiful, the garden colorful and has several places to stay outside, so we went out quite a bit because it was so good. It was a nice contact with Luca, who will be ready and give tips if necessary. Recommend!
