We stayed for 4 nights. This was the perfect place to explore Kristiansand while also having a lovely time “at home”. The kids loved the playroom upstairs.

We had a perfect stay. The house was so wonderful and the nature surrounding it .. amazing! Find yourself, get lost in the quiet and lonely mountains … we didn’t want to leave.

Malin had made it cozy to fire up the fireplace until we arrived, beds were prepared and everything was in order for our stay in Vanse. We give both Malin and the apartment our best recommendations! The kitchen and bathroom are obviously newly renovated and contain everything you need. Thanks for us!

We slept there just one night and arrived late, but there was everything we needed.

Nice apartment at the entrance of Åros holiday center. Everything was in order. Sparkling clean, tidy, and pleasant. Great communication with the host. Fun with access to pool nearby.

Huge accommodation with perfect access to the road to Kristiansand and Stavanger. Beds soft. Kitchen well equipped. Absolutely okay for one night.

It is a practical cottage with a nice atmosphere. We felt right at home there. It was very nice that we could play in the garden and the sandpit, swing and slide provided a lot of fun with our daughter. From the cottage, you can take beautiful walks to the fortress and the harbor.

We had a great stay and had a lot of fun! The apartment was clean and tidy when we arrived and everything was well arranged for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well equipped with what we needed, and it was a big plus with a good selection of children's equipment – very convenient when traveling with small children. Katja was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had along the way. The nice weather made it extra pleasant to be able to use the grill on the porch – a big bonus! All in all a super place we would love to come back to.

A wonderful accommodation with warm hospitality We were very lucky to live in a lovingly furnished house, which is designed with great attention to detail. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the host family - we felt welcome and in good hands from the very first moment. For breakfast, there were fresh eggs straight from the farm - so delicious! As well as special excursion tips that made our stay even more beautiful. Whether nature, culture or insider tips - Ole had the right recommendation for our wishes. The atmosphere in the house and around it was simply great: quiet, relaxed and full of positive energy. Our dog and we enjoyed the garden. We felt completely comfortable. Thank you for this special time – we look forward to seeing you again!

Great place and great communication. I would love to see that there was some free space in the freezer because it was completely full. A bit of private stuff visible.

We had a fantastic stay with our three children (9, 8 and 4). We had beautiful weather for the time of year and then it is wonderful to stay outside. Good opportunities for swimming, boating, fishing, scrambling and climbing. There is plenty of firewood available for the nice wood stove and the cabin is very cozy. For questions, the host responded quickly, pleasant communication and help! Thanks again!

Our stay was lovely. The cottage is very cozy and the view even more beautiful than in the photos. We enjoyed it very much.

Very quiet location, only 17 minutes by car to the ferries. Ideal for travel to and from Denmark.

Our first visit to Norway started in this beautiful cabin with the fantastic views. It was a warm welcome to be with friends. The view, the terrace with the various furniture and the private jetty are great. Since it has unfortunately rained a lot, we stayed by the fireplace in the beautiful living room apart from excursions to Lillesand and Kristiansand. Overall, we enjoyed the nature, the tranquility and the view.

We visited Ruth Helen's house at the beginning of our long trip with our three children and were absolutely thrilled. The location and the house are simply incredibly beautiful. Every corner has attention to detail, the kitchen offers everything you could wish for, the beds are great, the bathrooms are super stylish. The view from the living room is a dream. Outside, the kids and adults can let off steam. A great playground, small toys for the kids, kayaks for the adults. Ruth Helen is super helpful, responds quickly and is very friendly.
