The Best Airbnb I’ve Ever Stayed In – A Magical Experience! If I could give this place 100 stars, I would happily give 101! This Airbnb exceeded all expectations. It was even more beautiful than the photos — absolutely pristine, spotless, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details. The location feels like stepping into a fairytale: peaceful, magical, and right on a quiet beach. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a bottle of bubbly and water in the fridge, along with croissants, coffee, and tea. Fresh flowers brightened both the bathroom and living room, adding such a personal, elegant touch. Isa, our host, was incredibly kind and attentive. My friend has allergies to scented products, and Isa immediately removed all air fresheners and even sealed them in a bag before taking them out of the apartment. That level of care and responsiveness truly made our stay feel special. Amazing, wonderful, magical, Tranquilo . Highly recommend it – this place is unforgettable

The apartment was absolutely perfect! Incredible views, easy to find, clean, and there are several businesses within walking distance. Moreno is the best!! He was extremely friendly, helpful, and beyond accommodating. He really goes above and beyond for his guests. Absolutely loved our stay here!

Absolutely wonderful stay and amazing host. The apartment was exactly as described and the views and location were perfect. We loved sitting on the balcony, looking over the water and watching and hearing the people below. There are 2 wine bars just outside the door and also many restaurants. Alberto picked us up at the station and explained the apartment and area. Giorgio’s kindness was immeasurable. The trains had unexpectedly stopped running and he personally booked our transportation back to Milan and drove us to meet a new express bus. We could have never done this without him, as this was unpublished at the time. What a wonderful man! Varenna is a beautiful small village and there are many outstanding restaurants and things to do. Our highlight was taking a cooking class with Chef Marco, Chef’s Table, and later dining at his new restaurant, La Scarpetta. We recommend visiting the villas in town, taking the Taxi Boat to Villa Balbianello and hiking to the waterfall in Fiumelatte.

This place is amazing! The quiet nights on the patio, or walking down to the lake to enjoy the lights in the castle with evening setting on Lake Como were so wonderfully relaxing. I would recommend to anyone wanting to escape the insanity of Varenna. Other pluses. Town parking pass for Dervio. Amazing breakfast waiting for the ferry there, full kitchen for spectacular sunset meals with the best view of the lake!

This was one of our favorite apartments yet. Magical!! Pros: the view was stunning. We are active and fit so we didn't mind the steep 10 minute walk up from town to the house. We took advantage of the outdoor table for dining and drinks. We took a half day off from taking the bus to other towns to sightsee, just to relax on the sun loungers in the private side yard. Cons: The listing indicated that cooking basics like olive oil and ground pepper would be there, but they were not. My daughter and I cook at least a few full meals at every Airbnb so this what frustrating for us, especially as we had already been to the grocery store and were starting to cook when we noticed:( Note: We did alert the host about the olive oil but he did not opt to provide us with any. Stefano was wonderful in every other way so this surprised us.

Andrea’s apartment is extraordinary. The terrace and the bedrooms overlook the lake and the entire apartment is spotless and well equipped. We are so grateful for our time in Varenna and beautiful lake Como. To top it off our host helped us secure a reservation at Al Prato a very hard to get into restaurant located just across the square from our apartment. Best dining and service we had - highly recommend Andrea’s apartment. It is magical.

Incredible apartment, well equipped, very attentive host, short walk to the bakery and bus stop, beautiful balcony where we spent every evening, I would recommend this place to everyone!

Me and my partner had a great time, the apartment was lovely with an amazing view of the lake. Tea, coffee and milk all provided in the apartment, even a selection of jams. Anna even had us picked up from como train station and brought to the accommodation and shown around and how to use the facilities. Then she also had us picked up and dropped off early in the morning to the station so we could get back to the airport. Recommended us a lovely place for dinner on the edge of the lake. I also proposed to my now fiancé. Spectacular weekend, would 100% recommended staying here.

Thank Serenella for hosting us. The apartment was pristine, view was beautiful, basket was full of complimentary items. Anyone that needs some time to collect themselves and be away from civilizition and think things through, this is the spot! Thanks again .

First time visiting Veranna. Great location; 5 minute walk to train station and less than 5 minutes to ferry. House was well stocked and cozy. Lovely garden. Perfect for family of five.

Really great place and excellent setting. Friendly and always available host. Private fenced yard with sun loungers and shade, beach across the road 20 meters. (Note: Stony beach, swimming shoes recommended). Parking space in the yard. There are a few restaurants nearby and a few in the center, about 600 m. There is also a port. By boat to Bellagio or Lecco. However, be prepared as if you were going to a cottage, as there is no grocery store in Onno, the nearest one is 10 km away. A car is necessary. An ideal place for those who value peace and privacy.

It was a wonderful vacation at Il Terrazzino. We really enjoyed our time at the lake and in the house.

The stay was great. From the accommodation, the view of the lake is fantastic and the pool location is very neat.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the unbeatable location of this home. Being directly on the lake, the views are nothing short of magical. Waking up in the morning and looking out over the water from the bedroom felt like something out of a dream — peaceful, serene, and impossibly beautiful. The lake was quite literally at our doorstep. The home itself was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and full of charm. Every little detail was taken care of, and we felt instantly at ease. A special shoutout to our host, who went above and beyond when we realized last minute that we had forgotten to include our mother-in-law as a guest. It was entirely our oversight, and yet the host was kind, understanding, and incredibly accommodating. That kind of graciousness makes all the difference when you’re traveling. We can’t say enough good things about this place — the comfort, the views, the hospitality. If you’re lucky enough to find availability here, book it. Can’t wait to return

Very nice, clean apartment. We felt very comfortable. The apartment had all the amenities and you could start the excursions very well. Gladly again!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The location was within easy walking distance of the train and ferry stations and the old town center. The view from the patio and living room was lovely. One day was rainy, but the covered parts of the patio and open doors from the living room made for relaxing lake and mountain views, even in the rain. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was handy for cooking a couple dinners, and the washing machine was small but convenient for a couple quick loads. Communication and check-in went smoothly. Highly recommended.

The view is adorable. The location is the best. Car park is crucial to enjoy your stay and it was available upon request for free.

We had a great stay. Arriving by ferry, almost opposite the apartment, Gian was waiting to greet us. The apartment is just as described, perfect for a few nights. Gian offered us lots of suggestions, including tips for the hiking we planned to do up the mountain, which was amazing. A beautiful place to stay.

The village was really very friendly and pleasant, peaceful, 20 minutes from the main cities to visit near Lake Como and especially peaceful and a breathtaking view from the apartment. The apartment is well renovated, very bright and pleasant to live in. With a little luck you will meet Donatella who is the very friendly owner

Great place to stay in Varenna! Beautiful apartment with great recommendations and booklets left in the apartment. Locality wise it was perfect with being right beside the train station and walking distance of the ferry. Very nice local restaurants. We had a great stay. 5 stars from us :)

We spent a week in Rosas' fantastically beautiful apartment and enjoyed the time very much. The apartment with the great view is beautifully located. We couldn't get enough of the magnificent view of Lake Como. Communication with Rosa was excellent. On the day of arrival, she waited for us and showed us the way to the apartment. We also got a lot of tips from her and we liked to try one or the other restaurant. Thank you Rosa

Absolutely wonderful stay 😊 the flat and the views are absolutely gorgeous!! In a quieter area of lake Como, but it is an absolute gem. Still plenty of bars/restaurants within walking distance, and a little shop as well. There is a wonderful bar/cafe a 10 min walk down the lake front, which is the best place I’ve had my morning coffee. Musso will now be our base for future visits to Lake Como - there are few tourists but a 10 min drive to Menaggio where you can catch the ferry to Como, Bellagio and Varenna (among others). We didn’t go to Como, but Varenna and Bellagio were each a 15 min boat ride. Simone was extremely helpful with recommendations, and also when we extended our trip for a few days. You must catch the sunrise on the balcony - it is magical, as is the whole place! Plenty of parking, and a little beach right infront of the apartment. Cannot recommend enough, and we will be back.
