Beachfront holiday rentals in Manitou Beach-Devils Lake

We traveled to the area for a wedding and appreciated finding a very reasonably priced place to stay for the 7 of us in our group. The house was clean and owners very responsive. As other reviewers have mentioned, the signage in the neighborhood against Airbnb's made us a little nervous, but we had zero issues with neighbors and the entire time we spent at the house was quiet and peaceful. The pizza place and general store near the house were great stops for food and drinks/snacks when we arrived in town. When our daughter forgot one of her dolls at the house, Greg quickly mailed it back to us which was very appreciated. If we had to do it over again, we would have gladly stayed in the same house.

Brad and Deb are real pros. They really know how to set up the place to make it inviting and comfortable. It’s rare to run across hosts who handle the details. But these folks do. We can’t wait to get back here.

Bill the Owner being on site was helpful as he brought extra cleaning supplies when needed. Beds were very comfortable with clean sheets. Kitchen had most things needed for cooking although decent pots, pans and a kettle would have been helpful for making tea. Close proximity to the NASCAR site a big plus. Lake was very warm with kayaks and paddle boards available Pickleball court an added bonus The long covered porch very handy when raining especially as there’s no indoor table for more than two people. Wifi worked very well Plenty of hot water for showers Lots of parking Bill is a very affable host who made our stay relaxing and fun

Ryan’s house was perfect for us right on the lake made nights a lot easier to relax, I would definitely stay with him again

Great house on the lake with easy access beach for small children. Lots of room for several guests. Kitchen is great to accommodate big family gatherings. We would definitely stay again.

Very nice place on a lakefront, with a charming interior. Cathy was quick to respond with questions I had and she was more than accommodating and hospitable. The only regret my group and I had was that we could not stay longer to enjoy what all this place had to offer. We hope to be back next summer!

Wonderful place to stay. A beautiful sandy beach, a nice deck overlooking the lake. Our time at Devils Lake felt like home. The cottage was well appointed with the amenities to make our stay comfortable and hassle free. The host was great and responded quickly to our concerns.

Location was quiet, and house was comfortable. Easy drive to Ann Arbor. Owner responded promptly to questions. Overall, we had a very nice weekend.

This lake house was so incredibly peaceful. It was out of the way and tucked back off of the main roads. We were very comfortable staying here. Tom was always responsive to any questions I may have. Accessing the house was super easy and directions were clearly stated. I would consider staying here again if I am back in the area. All of us slept so well!!!!

Our stay at the lake house was absolutely perfect. The scenery was breathtaking and we had every amenity available to us that we could have wanted. James and Jackie truly thought of everything. The house was warm, welcoming, clean and spacious. We are ver satisfied with our stay.

We had a great time. The lake was beautiful, and there were kayaks, and paddle boards for us to use. At first I was skeptical about a road being between the cabin and lake since we had a toddler with us, but it was very quiet and very few cars came down the road. It was a beautiful area to go for a walk around the lake in the morning. We really enjoyed our time there. I did have a question for Layne and when I messaged him he promptly replied. We would definitely recommend to stay here.

Very nice cabin in a quiet area on a small lake. Sherry was very friendly and responsive to our requests. This was the perfect "home away from home" for our little swimming adventure. we'll come back next year if we can.

Our stay was everything we could've hoped for and more for a relaxing time away. This home was very clean and well cared for. Having the lake literally in the back yard for our personal use anytime we wanted was the icing on the cake. The views from both the open downstairs and master bedroom were very peaceful and serene. We enjoyed a couple mornings watching the cranes have their breakfast off the docks. Just too many good things to be able to note them all. Both Erica and James were very helpful and responsive before our trip and several times throughout our stay. You can tell they love their lake home and take pride in sharing it with others.

Place is realy beautifilul with great views. Easily best place we rented in recent memory. Hosts were very frendly, and easy to communicate.

Andy was great to work with. Our team came for an automotive engineering competition and he worked with us and made the stay great. He helped us find parking for our trailer, and helped with other Airbnb related things.

Our stay at Marian and Robert’s property exceeded all expectations. My friends and I are umich alumns and had a wonderful time at the residence while still being within a short drive from Ann Arbor. Could not recommend this place enough if you’re visiting Ann Arbor, or just looking for a peaceful stay.

Wendy and Troy’s lakefront cottage is a fantastic getaway. It’s well-equipped for a relaxing stay and offers stunning views of the serene harbor. The tranquil setting and private dock make it an ideal spot for unwinding.
