Holiday rentals with a patio in Monte Testaccio

From the moment we stepped into the place it felt very cozy. In a very quiet neighbourhood and as mentioned, a minute walk to the bus stop to take you to the city of Ancient Rome. Places to eat nearby as well. The highlight of the place was the spacious outdoor patio, where we took nap each afternoons. The place itself was equipped with nice comfy bed, kitchen with a fridge, microwave, dishwasher and stove where we made caffe every morning. The bathroom was nice and clean, we had one minor issue on day 1 but Apollonia and her partner came over right away at night to fix it and now that is going above and beyond to provide an excellent service. Grazie Mille :) Again, I can’t emphasize the Catello home, would definitely recommend this place and will book it again without any hesitation.

Wij hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad bij Andrea. Het appartement ziet er fantastisch uit, heeft alle voorzieningen, is enorm schoon en heeft een prachtig dakterras. Ook de airco’s in het appartement zijn écht een live safer in de hitte van Rome. De metro en de bus zijn op loopafstand, het appartement bevindt zich in een fijne en veilige buurt en biedt alle rust om even te ontsnappen aan de drukte van de stad. Al om al, een fantastisch verblijf gehad! 10/10!

This place was fantastic. So close to many things. We walked everywhere even with 3 kids. There were two private balconies so although it was in the middle of a bustling square it was possible to relax and rest outside. Sonia was great. She provided excellent details on how to find the place. She also offered many recommendations on places to eat. Would stay here again 100%!

This is a fantastic property in a super location which forces you to go off the beaten track the main tourist spots. There are some lovely little bars nearby and the walk down into town is amazing. Full of sights and bustle. This is a great property.

Very good place to stay. Located in the Trastevere area and right next to the number 8 tram that takes you into town. Very spacious apartment and great balconies for all rooms.

Wir sind super happy. Andrea war super zu erreichen. Check-in und -out sehr einfach. Die Wohnung sehr sauber und toll ausgestattet. Ca. 5 Minuten zur Bushaltestelle. Zum Vatikan ca. 20 Minuten mit dem Bus, zum Kolosseum ca. 50 Minuten mit Bus und Bahn. Supermarkt und Restaurants fußläufig. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Lieben Dank an die tollen Gastgeber. 💜

Leuk, op kunst ingericht verblijf, voldeed aan de verwachtingen. De woning was schoon, en van de benodigde faciliteiten voorzien. Hoewel het in een wijk ligt waar op zichzelf niets te beleven is, is het appartement prima geschikt als uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Rome. Diverse buslijnen stoppen vrijwel voor de deur, en ze rijden best vaak, dus binnen 20-30 minuten sta je in het historisch centrum of Trastevere. Het appartement is makkelijk per trein (en evt. bus) te bereiken vanuit luchthaven Fiumicino. Een leuke ontbijtplek ligt verderop in de straat, binnen 100m. Enige minpuntje is dat we het tijdens ons 5-daagse verblijf met 1 badlaken p.p. moesten doen, ondanks een verzoek om meer. Desondanks een aanrader!

So glad we booked this apartment when there were no reviews yet..:) Superb location— you can walk to most attractions within 30m enjoyable walk. The meantime, once you are inside the apartment, it’s like an oasis, so quiet and peaceful. Everything is just like in the pictures, if not any better. The building itself is not in the best shape, but the apartment itself definitely makes up for it. For us, the best part of the apartment is the views— the sky , monuments, birds, buzzing streets all in one. 100% recommended.

Our stay with Valerio was fantastic! He accomodated our late check in and welcomed us personally and explained all the amenities. The apartment is very luxurious and modern with the jacuzzi being the highlight. Very well furnished, the home had everything we needed. We were close to the Vatican so it made commuting to our tour very easy. We spent the evening outdoor part of the house, and thoroughly enjoyed using the jacuzzi while watching TV. We are glad we chose to stay with Valerio and we highly recommend!

Staying with Giovanna felt like a warm bath: Giovanna is a lovely person with excellent host qualities. Once in Rome, do go for the stylish house, the superb terrace, the handy stores nearby, the relaxness of it all. And of course for the love of truely great Giovanna: A glorious 5 days stay it was! We will return!

Andrea was a splendid host because of how responsive and understanding he was. His place was perfect. It was safe, private, and quiet. When we ran into a glitch, Andrea was quick to offer a generous solution to reconcile the concern. The place had everything we needed for a 10-day stay. Plus, it felt close to the center of Rome without being in the thick of the chaos. It’s close to delicious restaurants, several transit options in any direction, and the idyllic area surrounding Basilica di Santa Maria in Trastevere. We went there several nights for shopping, dinner, and dessert. It’s an 8-minute walk to Lavasciuga Roma, which I recommend for laundry: €22 and two hours to wash, dry, and fold a week of laundry for three people. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to return to Rome and stay here again.

The place is near the bus stop and termini station. You can easily get food by getting outside, I highly recommend to eat at Pizzeria Al Pigneto. The host is very friendly and helpful. I have no complain but the place will be better if they change the sleep lights to yellow instead of white.

Wir hatten sehr schöne drei Tage in Rom. Giorgia ist super sympathisch, antwortet schnell und hilft direkt, wenn es Probleme gibt. Ihre Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich, genau wie auf den Bildern zu sehen und liegt optimal, sodass man ganz einfach mit Bus und Bahn ins Zentrum von Rom kommt. Alles in allem sind wir sehr zufrieden und geben unsere besten Empfehlungen!

Świetny, uroczy apartament. Niczego nam nie brakowało, świetnie zaopatrzony, ręczniki, plyny do naczyń, do prania, wszystko, naprawdę wszystko tam było, łącznie z kawą i herbatą. Urokliwy taras idealny na śniadanka lub kolacje. Okolica cicha i spokojna. Gospodarz bardzo miły i pomocny. We wszystkim nam pomógł, łącznie z zamówieniem taxi z lotniska. Wszystko naprawdę super, szczerze 10/10.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Trastevere. The space was impeccably clean, with both indoor and outdoor areas that were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Rome. The location is ideal—tucked away in a charming neighborhood but within easy walking distance to some of the city's best restaurants and cafes. What really stood out was the host's flexibility and support. When we experienced a last-minute flight delay, they were incredibly helpful in rearranging our airport taxi and making sure everything went smoothly upon our arrival. We felt well taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Rome! My one small suggestion would be for people to bring some ear plugs or play white noise at night because there are some typical “big city noises” that can be heard easily from the bottom bedroom.

Very central to restaurants and main attractions. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. The rooftop balcony added the perfect Italian flair to late night evenings! We highly recommend staying here when in Rome.

This place is an absolute gem in the heart of Rome — if it is available, I’d highly suggest booking! We were here for 4 nights and slept so well due to the extremely comfy bed & A/C. The apartment was centrally located (as much as you can be in Rome) and allowed us to visit all the important sites + neighborhoods on foot. The terrace was magical — perfect for enjoying beautiful evenings in peace with pizza & wine from the surrounding neighborhood. The shower was also so spacious and consistently had good water temp + pressure — a true treasure in Italy! Going up the stairs with luggage is definitely a challenge, but this is to be expected when staying in beautiful but older buildings in Europe. Lastly, Alois was amazing — so kind, proactive, and helpful. He helped us check-in early despite our last-minute request, and was overall a pleasure to communicate with. We could not have been happier with our stay here!

We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely stay here again. The location couldn’t be better—just steps from the Colosseum and within easy walking distance to many other major sights. The apartment was clean, modern, and exactly as described. Our host was incredibly helpful and made everything easy, taking the time to explain how everything worked. No issues at all. Highly recommend!

Lorenzo was extremely helpful- met us and allowed an early check in due to the timing of our train arrival. The Terrance is incredible and a taxi stand a block away allowed us to easily get to venues further away. Not in the center of everything (which we wanted) but a nice neighborhood with tons of really good dining options. Our family of 4 loved it- thanks Lorenzo.

The location was perfect and walking distance to get to the most famous spots in Rome. Upon arrival at the Rome airport, they went above and beyond by arranging a private taxi. The apartment had everything we needed and the outside overlooking the garden was fantastic for relaxing after a long day of touring.

Appartement très spacieux et un patio très agréable. la literie super on a très bien dormi. appartement très bien situé 3 mn à pied de la station de métro très pratique. proche de commerces et restaurants notamment une pizzeria sympa en bas de l'appartement. On a adoré Rome et on y retournera. hôte de confiance.
