Kenneth's place is a great place to stay in Oil City. It's clean and well-located, and he is an excellent host. I travel there for work frequently and have appreciated having a good place to return to!

Earnest was great to work with. The place was clean and exactly what I needed while working in Marshall.

We just moved to the area and this place was perfect with the on site clean storage! Very peaceful and private setting to relax and enjoy the outdoors. At night, put the phone away and listen to the frog and owl sounds, they are a joy to listen to. Thanks for making our extended stay so memorable!

We stayed 2 nights at the Mallard house. Took a boat tour & ate breakfast at Shady Glade Cafe. good, typical greasy spoon breakfast spot on the water. We were able to access kayaks at a separate property (5 min drive) & enjoyed our time on the water. We had dinner at Big Pine Lodge & every bite was amazing. I got the Caddo grill plate & hubby got the BPL plate. The bed was comfy, soft pillows, great shower & well equipped kitchen. The only thing I forgot to bring was sugar for our coffee. Kelly was on-site during our stay & offered up local knowledge & advice on where to kayak. He is a super friendly host. Definitely recommend staying here. We may choose the other property close to the kayaks next time as I'm sure it will meet the same standards. Thanks for having us!!
