On the ground floor, there are 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a toilet. In addition, a large country kitchen and a corner room with dining area, wood-burning stove and sofa. The 1st floor consists of a large common room with workspace, TV area and a bedroom with three beds. The house is located with beautiful views of fields. The garden is large and with many outdoor spaces. You must bring your own bed linen/towels.

The small charming townhouse is located centrally in Nysted town, close to the harbor, where it buzzes with life in the summer and overlooks Ålholm Castle. The house is located within walking distance to a cozy beach, close to small unique shops. Enjoy your stay in this old cozy market town. The whole area offers beautiful nature, which is ideal for walking or cycling. On the edge of Nysted there is a bird sanctuary, a small marina, ice house and restaurants as well as several playgrounds. In addition to this, Kettinge swimming pool is close by

Guesthouse Refshalegården

Enjoy a cozy holiday in the countryside - in UNESCO's biosphere area, close to the medieval town of Stege, near the water and in the middle of nature. We are a family consisting of a Danish/Japanese couple, three small dogs, a cat, sheep, running ducks and chickens. We have renovated the entire farm to the best of our abilities and with a high degree of recycled materials. We love to travel and make sure the house is comfortable and cozy. The beautiful Faxe Bay and Noret just outside the house set the scene for a wonderful place. The house was voted the winner of the program Denmark's most beautiful cottage on DR1 (2014). The well-appointed 50 m2, with up to 4 m to the ceiling, is perfect for a couple - but is also ideal for a family with 2-3 children. All year round, you can swim in the "Svenskerhullet" and Roneklint and the small fine island Maderne, which is owned by Nysø Castle. 10 km from Præstø. We have spent a long time renovating our little wooden house with upcycled building materials, decorated it with heirlooms and flea finds, and are now ready to have guests visit. The house is located in our orchard, close to nature, forests, good beaches, medieval villages, Fuglsang Art Museum and far from noise - with the exception of our quails and free-range silkie chickens, which may well go crazy once in a while. The house is 24 sqm in size, and also has a loft with enough beds for four people.
