North Sea air and sauna! Our detached vacation home "Dat Melkhus" was built in 1870 and is located in a small settlement with a quiet neighborhood. Here, at the turn of the century, butter was made by hand for the surrounding communities. Today, the once small house has been expanded to 140 square meters of living space and has been lovingly renovated by us since 2022. Perfect spot for relaxation, nature, cycling, golf, water sports and culinary delights. More information about the house can be found in the photos.

Explore our unique cultural landscape and the Wadden Sea World Natural Heritage Site right outside the front door on foot or by bike. Watch the unique sunset in the North Sea with a glass of wine one and a half kilometers away, then the night sky with thousands of birds and millions of stars. In the morning, you will be awakened by the bleating of the sheep and the chirping of the birds.

Our small apartment is for people without entitlement. (e.g. no dishwasher & freezer) It is on our property under annex with private entrance & terrace, which is fenced. If you are looking for solitude, this is the wrong place, as our path leads past the terrace. Rarely on your own. Dogs are just as welcome as children. Attention: we have two Hovawarts. The house, with about 140 m2 of living space and an antique fireplace, is available for guests for their own use. From here, you can take many excursions to the North Sea (Büsum 30 and Speichererkoog in Meldorf 20 minutes by car, ...).
