Cozy and spacious accommodation in nice surroundings. We would be happy to come back on the next visit to Eksjö

The cabin exceeded our expectations. We held New Year in Karl's cabin inside a forest between Nassjö and Eksjö and it was just as it should be. Lovely quiet and quite undisturbed. Karl was great at giving recommendations for activities we could do, as well as appropriate length of hiking trails around. He was even very proactive when we got to make a few mistakes in the kitchen that he kindly took care of. We felt welcome in the old converted soldier's cabin and are strongly considering coming back on a 'get away' in the cozy cabin.

Greetings to Johan and Jeanette! We took another close look and were now in Svartarp for the tenth time. It was as always beautiful there and very relaxing for us. It is highly recommended to book the boat, whether for fishing or for nature observation from the water. This time we saw: white-tailed eagles, a bird of prey nest with breeding on the north bank, a duck with ten goslings (amazingly tame), mergansers, swans and Canada geese, all with offspring, common loons, cranes, cuckoos, many songbirds, woodpeckers, hares (this time no moose or badgers, as before), various arctic water birds in their summer quarters. Eksjö is tranquil and charming, always beautiful. Everything you need is on site, you can pay everywhere with a credit card. A small herd of cows (heifers) from the neighboring farm directly next to the house reinforces the pleasant rural feeling. We were there for the national holiday, there was a quite impressive little parade to and on the square in front of the church.

We (family with two grown children) had a wonderful vacation in a very nice and renovated house that is tastefully and modernly furnished. It has a wonderfully large terrace that goes down to the lake. Swimming in the lake was also very possible in August (approx. 22°C water temperature) and a bathing ladder facilitates access. The surroundings are very natural and quiet and there are only a few houses on the lake. The free rowboat allows fishing, for example. We also liked that Per also thinks of small things: In addition to bed linen and towels (incl. bath towels), coffee filters, coffee, salt, olive oil, garbage bags, detergent and much more were also available - this is not a matter of course. Communication with Per was very friendly, he always responded quickly and helped when something was wrong or answered our questions quickly. We will be happy to come back again.
