The cities of Hamburg and Kiel are about 1 hour away and can be reached quickly via the A7. The train station in Wrist is about 5 km from our property, good bus connection or taxi. Shopping on site (Lidl, Aldi, Edeka, Netto, Rossmann, pharmacy)

A sports room and a communal terrace are available and for children pony rides at an extra cost. In addition, the Hochmoor is suitable for long walks or jogging laps. The A 23 can be reached in 4 minutes by car and from there you can quickly get to Hamburg. The third sleeping place is on the sofa with sleeping topper.

Northwest of Hamburg in the beautiful Schleswig Holstein lies our lovingly furnished 48 sqm apartment with terrace and garden. There is a kitchen with stove, oven and refrigerator, a shower room and bedroom with double bed and TV. In the immediate vicinity is a small lake. The rural quiet location is ideal for a break, bike tours and inline skating, but also offers a good starting point for trips to the North and Baltic Sea or to Hamburg, Kiel and Glückstadt.

The Horster ElbAlm

My ElbAlm stands for real picture book country life. Nearby there are cows, chickens, donkeys and fields. And the tranquility, too, of course. Why ElbAlm? The Elbe and the dike can be reached in 15-20 minutes by car. Here you can expect a real beach and a delicious snack and suitable refreshment is available here in summer. Hamburg is also 30 minutes away. In about 3 km away is the Horster train stop. Here is a parking lot and bicycle parking.

Shepherd's wagon "Lotta"

"Lotta" is a typical shepherd's wagon without electricity and running water. "Here you get the opportunity to relax from media, internet and smartphone!" Of course, "Lotta" has enough water to wash and cook. Cooking is done over a wood stove. In the summer it's unfortunately quite warm, so the good "Lotta" gets a solar oven. This can be used in sunshine even in winter. (Briefing is attached) "Lotta" stands on our sheep pasture (approx. 2 ha).

The scenic surroundings in and around Kellinghusen offers many possibilities for outdoor activities, e.g. for canoe tours and excursions by bike. The outdoor swimming pool of Kellinghusen is right near. The train station from Wrist with train connections to Hamburg, Kiel, Neumünster, Pinneberg and Elmshorn is only 5 km away.

Opposite is our bistro/cafe "Uncle Paul", where you can reserve a table for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Your nest in Horst: Quiet, clean and practical 2-room apartment, 2nd upper floor, in a beautiful little village north of HH. Ample parking is available, five minutes by car to Horst train station, eight minutes to the A 23 and approx. 40 minutes to HH Mitte. Bus stop, fitness center and supermarket within a two-minute walk and your own train station in Horst about 20 minutes.
