Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Pescasseroli

The accommodation was perfect, great location, close to walks, activities, historic sites and shops. There is a lakeside bar a short walk away. Views from the house looking out to Lake Scanno and the mountains are spectacular! Great hosts, very responsive. We stayed in Francesco's apartment from Thursday to Sunday and we had a great time! The apartment is comfortable and has everything you need, like staying at home! Monticchio is ten minutes from L'Aquila and half anhour from Fonte Cerreto, from which the cable car to Gran Sasso starts. The Gran Sasso is beautiful and, if you like nature, trekking, cycling or horseback riding, the location of the house is optimal to reach the natural attractions of the area. Marco's house is well located in the center of Pescasseroli from where you can easily reach all the towns of the National Park, the proximity of the car parking makes everything very simple. The house is nice and spacious, four of us stayed comfortably. Marco was very helpful for travel tips and directions. Thank you!

Beautiful and very clean chalet in the very quiet village of Roccacinquemiglia. An oasis for the mind and soul. Waking up to the chirping of birds and immersed in nature is priceless. Great, quiet place where you can completely relax. Sunbeds and a hammock next to the fruit orchard, mountains as a view, visits from a red kite and collared redstarts for the bird lovers, firefly show in the evening and a pygmy owl in the distance. Those who love nature love this place. The bed is wonderful, the shutters make the rooms nice and dark, screens are attached everywhere, the shower is a bit small for tall Dutch people like us. Lina and Mario were super helpful and communicative. Villages in the area are nice to visit. Don't expect large crowds of tourists, you can visit ruins on your own (in June at least). Some roads in the area chosen by navigation are 'adventurous' to drive. The main roads are easy to do.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa. It looks even better than in the photos! Super peaceful & communication with the hosts was a deem. A little trouble with electricity but hey - it‘s rural Italy :) would definitely book again!

Everything was wonderful. We enjoyed our 2 week stay. Sabaudia is a great location away from tourists. Easy to get to Latina train station by car 1/2 hour. We had parking, a Gardner and pool service. Recycling is a bit of a pain but that’s all of Italy.

Ornella was a wonderful host, and we loved staying here! The house is about a 35min walk to the top of Pesche, and a 5min drive to Isernia. We have recommended this place to all of our family that will soon visit. Only downfalls of the property: A little cold in the house, but there were plenty of blankets. Also, the water was not very hot, which made showering a bit uncomfortable. All in all, we would definitely stay here again. It’s cozy and quiet, and inconveniently located to everything we wanted to see.

Very nice house with great pool. The hosts are very friendly and can give good advices for the area. The cave of falvaterra is amazing and many other places can be visited from there.

Just a five-minute drive away is the quaint town of Maenza, where you can enjoy a walk through its cozy streets, visit a historic castle, and discover a few delightful restaurants and a local shop in the center. Beautiful villa with outstanding views. Magnificent pool which we still managed to use in late October. A highlight of our stay was sitting and eating outside every evening, all gathered around the large table under the beautiful loggia. Using the pizza oven was a first for us and was great fun. Highly recommended.
