The "il Cottage" accommodation is a lovely two bedroom apartment that is right next to the fortress (which makes it even more evocative). Francesca and Aliek welcomed us with kindness and professionalism, making us feel like we are in our home. Their whole family was very nice and helpful, including dogs, cats, and donkeys who were an unexpected and very enjoyable company for us. The fortress is located in a very quiet area but at the same time close to the main tourist attractions of Umbria easily reachable by car, at most in a couple of hours. Absolutely recommended for both couples and families, or simply for people who love tranquility and beauty .

Elisabetta’s place is amazing. It’s set in beautiful and peaceful countryside and makes for an incredibly quiet, relaxing and scenic trip away. There is lots to see and do in the local Umbrian countryside, and Elisabetta couldn’t have been more helpful in offering recommendations. Elisabetta herself is the consummate host - very proactive in her communication, and does everything she can to help make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. She even had some flowers for my pregnant partner when we arrived! Her son was also really friendly and helpful, and even came out to us with some ice creams in the 36 degree temperatures! I can’t recommend this place enough.

My family and I stayed at the villa for 4 days. Maria Laura welcomed us by showing us the house and recommending places to visit during the stay. She was welcoming and immediately available for any request. The house is beautiful, equipped with every comfort, clean and well heated. From the garden you can admire Monte Terminillo in all its glory. The area is well sheltered and quiet, ideal for a relaxing vacation. We felt right at home and hope to be back soon.

The best trip we have had! The photos really do not do this property justice as it was even more spectacular when we arrived. The views are unbelievable and the pool is beautiful. There is a lovely outdoor dining area overlooking the pool where we spent every lunchtime. The house is beautiful and finished to a very high standard with all original features. All of the bedrooms are large and the living area is great. We drove to the local town Todi and found some lovely restaurants. I really cannot recommend this house enough and Paola and her parents were incredible hosts and very attentive. This was my first time visiting the area and we will definitely be back.......we didnt want to leave!
