Holiday rentals with a patio in Pontardawe

A great downstairs property with a walk-in shower and lovely view. Perfect for our needs.

Lily's house is pristine! From the moment we walked in everything felt just right. I loved the cutleries and tableware, the cosy living room and warm bedroom. I don't think I have been to a cleaner air bnb. There was no shower gel but bath soap was provided. It was walking distance to all the places we wanted to go to like the Singleton park, Swansea Beach and Swansea University. And grocery stores as well as the bus stop was just 10 mins walk away. We had a lovely stay and would come back again !

Liz is a lovely host who had left milk, bread and Welsh cakes, a nice touch. Good shower and towels and very comfy beds. Central location in a popular town where parking is cheap; carpark has electric charging points. There is on road parking nearby and you do get a parking permit. However be considerate to the permanent residents. I loved the apartment and would definitely book again. Liz was very helpful and approachable, a lovely lady.

We spent just one night at Kay’s lovely apartment. She responded quickly to any questions , very clean, comfy bed and lovely decking over a very pretty stream.

Our stay was beautiful! The apartment was stunning, the pictures don’t do this interior justice. It was clean, warm and we had the best night sleep! There were so many lovely little editions for our kids too including colouring books, board games and beach toys. The local area was quiet but with the beach, a playground and restaurant on our door step, our first day meant we had everything we needed whilst we navigated the local area. The welcome book was really thorough as well! The pages on things to do was really helpful and we ended up going to dinosaur park for the day- a great choice! We would definitely recommend this apartment and location!

Perfect location for those exploring Barry Island. Host were friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Communication was fantastic. Room was exactly what we needed. Clean and tidy. Bed and bedding was comfortable. Garden was lovely for a coffee if a morning. We especially liked the free and included doggy cuddles. ❤️ The only downside was having to leave. Such a beautiful spacious one bed cottage, with gorgeous gardens surrounding and Helen was friendly and helpful. The cottage was spotlessly clean and bigger than we expected. Walking through the gate in the wall was like walking into the secret garden. A perfect base and everything needed was there and a shop close by. We hope to stay again one day.

Ty Canol is very comfortable and well appointed. It's an old stone cottage with a small mature garden. five minutes walk from the sea. We felt at home straight away.

Emma is an extremely efficient hostess who catered for our needs. She went over and beyond our expectations and kept us up to date with useful information. Thank you for being a great hostess Emma

I had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless and exceptionally well-maintained. Everything I needed was included — from kitchen essentials to extra linens — making it incredibly convenient, especially for a longer stay. During our biking trip in Wales with another couple, Dafydd's charming cottage suited our group perfectly. It provided an excellent mix of privacy and shared spaces, with both bedrooms being completely separate, allowing each couple their own private retreat while still enjoying the communal areas together. The location was also convenient, with easy access to key spots like Brecon Beacons and Swansea, which made the experience even more enjoyable! I would definitely recommend it and would stay there again!

The communication from booking to leaving was fantastic. The flat is spotlessly clean. A lot of thought has been put into it too make guest extremely comfortable. It was great sitting on the large veranda area in the evening as the sun went down. By far this is the best Airbnb I have stayed in. We will be booking again and again. Beverley was an excellent host that communicated with ease and attentiveness. The place is just lovely and they have done a great job with the space they have and a lovely little seating are to add to the charm. It has its own entrance and feels very private and secure.
