Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Port Isabel

Peggy made us feel right at home. The house was so close to the beach that we walked there multiple times a day. There was a nice outside shower to wash all the sand off before coming inside which kept the house feeling pristine. There were two large upstairs bedrooms with their own bathrooms and a shared mini-fridge which was ideal for giving our young adult children their own space to relax, watch movies, and talk late into the night, while my husband and I enjoyed the downstairs area of the house. It worked out perfectly for our family vacation!

We had a awesome time and their place was just like the pictures listed. Lots of things to do and see. We enjoyed our stay and we hope to be back.

It was a very nice place. My family and I enjoyed our stay. The walk to the beach was only 2min not to far. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the beach since it had alot of tar balls washing up to the shore. But our stay at the house was great our kids and grand kids enjoyed the pool.

Great place , large rooms high celings ...the bed is the most comfortable!! Great location and pool in back was more fun to enjoy than beach .

Erika was wonderful. This was my first time booking an air B and B and we were so happy we did! Erika was very responsive with every question we had regarding the property and procedure. The home was impeccable. Nights were completely quiet and we slept better than we ever have at the local Hotels. Providing bottled water when we arrived was such a nice touch! Thank you again for being such a wonderful host and for making our stay amazing! Can’t wait to return in a month!

Really enjoyed our stay. Very nice comfortable house with great things to do locally, nice pool at the clubhouse and perfect distance to South Padre Island.

Pros and Cons: Pros: great space for our dogs (they loved it). Also well stocked overall--plates bowls cooking body soaps and shampoos if you need them etc. Plenty of extra towels sheets blankets. All the things others don’t put in their rentals. Cons: A tad humid and damp in the house. Could use a dehumidifier to make it more comfortable since it is an older place and struggles a bit when it’s really hot. A tad far from the closest anything. First gas station is minimum 15minutes and everything else is 7 minutes more at least. Beach with traffic is 30 minutes at best. And as a couple other reviewers mentioned: Please removed just a little bit of the decorations. It was hard to “see” our stuff and move around at times because there were just too many “things” around. We had trouble finding counter space to lay out what we wanted to use. Too many chairs also.

Wonderful little place. Everything was clean and just as described. We will definitely stay again when we return.

I had an amazing time at Lee Ann’s place. It had beautiful views of the beach, was close to restaurants and coffee shops. Check-in and check out were a breeze, and there was great communication throughout. Would definitely book again! 😁

For anyone seeking a central spot at South Padre Island, this is the place! Beach access is just down the street. There are plenty of restaurants and bars that are within walking distance. Gulf Blvd is less than a block away, so for those who enjoy biking, walking, or jogging you've got a dedicated lane. The condo looks EXACTLY as it does in the pictures. It's beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The host is responsive and friendly. This is the second time I've stayed at this condo, and I look forward to staying again in the future. Hope you enjoy it as much as we have!

I loved this place! It was the perfect size for my family of four. My boys had their own room and restroom on one side of the home. My sister and her son stopped by for one night and they slept on the sofa bed, it was as comfortable as a sofa bed can be. I’ve been renting at LIV for 18 years now and this home has been my favorite so far. The kitchen was very nice, but I would suggest new pots and pans. Loved having a washer and dryer in the unit, I was able to wash wet suits and towels after our days at the beach and pool. The patio was perfect for morning coffee and reading. The ceiling fan made it very comfortable to sit out in the 90 degree weather. I would definitely rebook in the future!

Sergio was great, the place needs different couch and chair, directions for fans and lights, garbage disposal is broken, never did figure out how to reset temperature on refrigerator to keep items from freezing.

Exceptionally clean, updated condo in smaller complex. Very well stocked. Steps to the beach. This place exceeded our expectations. Will book again.

Incredible house within a quiet community. My family loved the amenities and the space the house holds. Felt at home. Will be returning in the near future.

We had such a wonderful experience at this Airbnb! The property was large, beautiful, and very peaceful — exactly what we were looking for. There was plenty of fishing, which everyone in our group enjoyed, and seeing the alligators was an added bonus. They kept to themselves and didn’t bother us at all, just part of the natural charm of the area. The owners were fantastic — every time we reached out, they responded quickly and were extremely helpful and accommodating. Overall, it was a perfect getaway, and we would absolutely stay here again!

The property was beautiful and Xavi responded to all my messages in a timely manner. Wish we could have stayed longer!

I am so grateful to have spent my week in Brownsville at Veronica's place. Its location was ideal for where I needed to be. The space itself was perfect, allowing me to just nestle in as if it were my own home.

The condo was exactly as described. Great value for beachfront, comfortable accomodations. Our only complaint was that the pool was unavailable during our stay. Highly recommend.

Had a great time staying at this airbnb. Beautiful kitchen, wheelchair accessible with a ramp for the upstairs. And dog friendly! Great pools in the neighborhood indoor and outdoor with hot tubs. Easy check in process. Great to go into SPI! Highly recommend.

Exactly what we were looking for on this trip - boat slip, near SPI, pet friendly, deck to fish on, and a public boat dock at the end of the road. The pad looked liked the photos online, so no disappointments there. It had quality items in the kitchen - cookware, real plates, silverware, and glassware. None of those cheap appliances and plastic plates. We like to cook and make cocktails, so a blender, colander, and an outdoor grill would be appreciated. But not a deal breaker. We baked, roasted and pan-fried and was good. The master bath was huge with a tub, although the shower stall was a bit tight and challenging for my 6'4" husband. If I needed to write a downside, it'll probably be lugging bags and groceries up the stairs. But it did give us a workout and on the second day, our leg muscles were pretty used to the climb. LOL. The area was quiet, private, and we felt safe. It had ample parking for our trailer and truck, and another vehicle in front. Tim & Vanessa are great hosts.

We loved the place, it felt like home. Everything was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would stay again in this place next summer!
