Cosy, double room in artist’s house.

We are NOT in the city of York, but a separate town 9 miles away, just to clarify. We moved to this characterful house in Tadcaster 5 years ago, slowly renovating with a ‘Fawlty Towers’ vibe. This double room is in the attic so feels cosy, but with dual aspect original sash windows is bright and airy too. It’s the smallest of our rooms so ideal for a quick stop over but has hanging space, tea & coffee and tv and the use of our newly fitted shower room. This room isn’t suitable for large dogs.

This quiet, spacious and comfortable room has a soft and supportive king-sized bed, made up with fresh, soft linens, a big wardrobe and a professional workspace. You will have access to the shared spaces in the rest of the house, including two bathrooms (both with showers, one with a bath), a well equipped kitchen, cosy living room with wood burner, bar area, gym and garden- shared with myself and usually other guest/ guests. Breakfast is provided for you in the utility room, you are welcome to use our dining room.
