A house in the fields

The house stands alone in a sea of fields, swept by the wind, in a large perennial garden. With the help of many fellow artists and friends, this formerly unspectacular guesthouse from the 1990s was remodeled and renovated, and a garden was created with the help of landscape designer Rainer Elstermann. Through continuous growth and change, an idyllic place has emerged – and continues to emerge – that can accommodate 10 people in the guest area and 8 people in the studio area, which is mainly used privately.

Vacation home in the countryside

The apartment is located in a stylish old farmhouse converted in 2023 in the Schorfheide nature reserve, and is only a 2-minute walk from the lake, where you can swim quietly and relax. The house has a rowboat, which can be used for a fee (€10/day). From the large outdoor terrace you can watch cranes and storks in the meadow belonging to the courtyard. The Chorin monastery and the Brodowin eco-village can each be reached in 15 minutes by car (30 minutes by bike).

"Fräulein Käthes Sommerfrische" is a vacation apartment located in the beautiful Uckermark, one hour north of Berlin. The 70 sqm apartment is on the second floor of an old servants' house, directly on the Anger of the small village, which is surrounded by 7 lakes. The owner lives (with cat Charly) in the apartment on the ground floor. Vacationers are welcome to share and enjoy the garden.
