There are many AirBnBs apartments. And then there is Gerdur's place, which is in a different league. Gerdur's place is a cosy, stylish, one-of-a-kind grand old house in downtown Goteborg, and Gerdur's delightful hospitality will make you feel like you are at home. I am a regular user, and I cannot recommend it enough.

We had a lovely stay at Gerdur's place - the decor is amazing and the entire flat is very spacious. The room we stayed in had lots of lovely light and the bed was so comfortable! Plus the location of the flat is so central and easy to get to from the airport. Our entire weekend was completely walkable which was great. Our personal highlight was definitely Gerdur's siamese cat, who was so friendly and always around to greet us.

I was in transit to Norway and stayed for one night in Gothenburg in the beautiful apartment in Gerdur. My train was late and late check-in was not a problem at all. Gerdur even helped me to carry my heavy suitcase to the first floor

Gerdur is a lovely host, she gave us excellent directions on how to find the flat coming from the airport and good recommendations on restaurants since we arrived late. The flat is in a very central location and is very clean and warm. We totally recommend Gerdur’s place 😊

Gerdur was a really great host and super interesting person to chat with. She recommended multiple museums in Gothenburg which I truly enjoyed. The place itself was gorgeous and the cats were really friendly.

This was a really wonderful stay! Adam was extremely accomodating, flexible, helpful and responds almost instantly to messages! The location is lovely and there's a small supermarket right across the building. Highly recommended!

Lovely place, clean and nicely designed flat. Good public transport links locally and was well equipped with all that we needed.

Perfect! The apartment is located in a quiet area in Majvallen and is about 45 min walk into the city, otherwise very easy public transport links (tram - No. 11) into town, taking 10-15mins, that only costs 33 SEK per trip (approximately £2.70). The apartment is close to a ICA supermarket and Hemkop supermarket just down the road. The apartment has enough amenities to cook your own food, myself and my wife spent 4 days here for a business trip into Molndal, which again is only a two tram journeys away. Majvallen is a beautiful area, with a large park about 10mins to the east, and a Nordic Wellness gym down the road (you can sign up for a free 1 week trial, and use any Nordic Wellness in Sweden). The space is well spaced out with very fast WiFi, lockbox entrance and a superb rustic feel with nice wooden flooring and ventilation with windows on both sides of the apartment. Bathroom is a wet room and kitchen has blender, kettle, filter coffee maker, electric hob, oven and extraction system and full size fridge/freezer with enough pantry space to store food. Overall an amazing space that exceeded expectations, the photos don't do it justice, it is a bigger space than it seems. Fabulous. Thank you Adam!!!

Had such a lovely weekend stay with my girlfriend. Cosy apartment with everything you need for a comfy stay. Tram stops around the corner make getting into the city super easy. If you're looking for a place to stay for a quick break then I highly recommend staying here!

This entire apartment was a good value. There is not much immediately around it, but there is good accessibility via the tram and many cafes and grocery options within a 10-15 minute walk. The city center is about 15-20 minutes away via the tram. Adam responded quickly, and the apartment was very clean and had everything one would need. I would recommend this place.

Easy to get to, twenty minutes by tram from Goteburg central station. Jessica is a wonderful host and will make you feel welcome. The room is comfortable, warm, sparkling and cosy.

We had amazing stay at Anna's place. City is beautifull, easy acces to center, room is cosy and clean and cats are just adorable. Also neighbourhood is calm and quiet. I could reccomend to everyone who's looking for a great place to spend a few nice days.

Its a quiet and cozy place, like it very much. Especially, my darling and i had a excellent moment on the soft bed. We really had a nice and romantic time together in rainy night.

Anna is a very nice and kind landlord, I arrived her place quite late, but she and her cats wait for me and answer me nice and derectly when i have a problem looking for the house , it’s really a comfortable place, i will back.

Excellent value for the city. Getting to and from everything in Gothenburg is a no-hassle 20 min. bus ride that picks up right next to the apartment. Anna was a lovely host and her space offers plenty of privacy.

Whatever I write about Linda's property will not do it justice. It is a huge space, wonderfully decorated and is immediately calming, restful and relaxing. There is everything, and I mean everything, you could possibly need for the stay and if it's not there i know Linda would provide it in a second. I can't tell you how thoughtful Linda is. On arrival we had fizz, gingerbread and snacks. Soon after tea and more coffee filters arrived. Little notes were left for us and everything was just so warm and welcoming. The beds are ultra comfortable with plenty of pillows and towels. There is a beautiful outside area which would be amazing in the warmer months. There is even a barbecue. The No 50 bus stop is a short walk away and is s short journey into Gothenburg. You can even go for free if you dodge the 'white caps' but you've not heard it from me! Seriously, I could not rate Linda and her home highly enough. I am missing both so much and will definitelygo back at the next opportunity.

This is the second time we are booking this gold bar for accommodation and at least as satisfied as last time :-) Linda is a fantastic host who welcomes one with open arms. Spoiled with bubble and chocolate when you come inside the doors, shiny clean and homely. We like the fish in the water! See you next year!

Spacious and bright apartment in a quiet residential area, which can be reached by bus 50 (Skars Kyrka stop) directly from the city center (or Korsvägen for airport bus (travel time from there approx. 5 minutes) plus 5-8 minutes walk. Kitchen well equipped ( dishwasher and tabs). Children's room with a bunk bed is small and narrow. WiFi worked perfectly. All in all, it was perfect. Linda is a helpful and personable host.

Williams place is super cozy, clean and got all equipment you would need in an apartment. The check-in was very smooth and easy and the location is very central with only 15 minutes to get to the city centre: a short walk and a tram stop away. I really enjoyed staying there and warmly recommend this place for people who wants to live near the city centre of Gothenburg!

I lived at his place for one month. I highly recommend staying at this place! The apartment is very clean and the room looks like a high-class hotel. Everything at his place was just the same as I saw on the pictures. The location is also great. It’s in the middle of the city where there are many fancy restaurants and even it’s a 5 minutes walk to two different supermarkets. His explanations on his listing is genuinely detailed and precise especially about how to get there, and about the house rules. He was very quick to respond to my messsages and tried his best so I could get the keys smoothly. This explains that he is considerate about his guests so the guests will enjoy the stay. He is a kind person and fun to talk to. It was a bonus that we both liked boardgames and the likes, so we enjoyed playing them together.

W@W! This listing is SUCH an incredible value! It is dead center in downtown beautiful Gothenburg...look no further! Sebastian is extremely warm and accommodating...I said LOOK NO FURTHER! BTW, the “shared” bathroom is directly adjacent to the listing’s double room so it’s like having a private half of a gorgeous Swedish apartment! I’d actually prefer renting this space again over a private one of the same price.

The apartment is in a very nice and quiet location near the Slottskogens and the Haga district. William is a pleasant host and you can also use the kitchen. We felt very comfortable with him.

I was looking for the cheapest place to stay in the city, but it turned out that it was the best choice as well. I came up on NYE alone, so these guys invited celebrate it together (not in the apartment)I've met William and Henry, they were super friendly. If you don't like partying they will give you privacy and silence but if you like parties, they will do it together and that's a perfect balance. 100% would stay again!

My wife and I had a great time creating our masterpieces! I would definitely recommend to others, it felt like a very intimate time with my wife doing this craft Tracie made us feel very comfortable, explained directions clearly and left us to try out different techniques.

It was a great experience! First it is her house so it requires a little bit of an open mind. She has so many different styles and techniques hanging to kind of get an idea of what you’d like your end result to be! Her kids do interact sometimes and they let us play with their hedgehog which was fun!

Had a lot of fun. Host has a lot of energy and it was unique.

Tracie shared her own experiences and techniques with the art form which really makes me feel like I have a head start on this awesome medium.

I loved this class. It is something I would never have done by myself for the first time. I left with enough knowledge to feel I could try this myself later. I did the class one on one and recommend no more than 2 people as the space was small. If this is something that interests you then I definitely recommend the class.

The stay with Malia was very easy and nice. The apartment is a bit outside the city centre, but with the tram station nearby it's easy and fast to get there. Right around the corner is a nice bakery and a supermarket. I can easily recommend the Airbnb for a city trip to Göteborg!

Very clean, professional entry system and everything you need for a good night's rest. Would recommend if you are spending a couple of nights sightseeing in Gothenburg. However not suitable for disabled or elderly people who find stairs difficult.

Nelson's place is VERY tidy and clean, and he made sure I had everything I needed. He allocated space in the kitchen cabinets and the fridge for my things and full access to the kitchen and living room. Nelson is very easy-going and helpful!

I stayed with Nelson for about a month, a few weeks after first arriving in Gothenburg. He was welcoming and helpful, I definitely recommend staying there, especially if you've just moved to the city. The place is extremely tidy and also clean and warm. You're free to cook and use the living room. Nelson made space in the kitchen cupboards for me, which I found very helpful. Nearby is a tram stop, supermarket, ATM, post office to cover all your basic needs.

I've spent the last 2 months at Nelson's. He is a fantastic host, and his place is wonderful. He was incredibly helpful as well. If anyone is thinking about staying here, I would highly recommend it.

I had a wonderful stay in Göteborg! It was a big room for me alone but a nice and lovely furnishing 😊. The hole apartement is very cleaned but I felt coming home when I arrived there. The appartement is located in the city, shops and bars everything what you need for a weekendtrip is directly in the neigbourhod. If I'm coming a second time to Göteborg I hope Gerdur has a free room to rent. - Thanks for all!

A very stylish, well-kept and comfortable apartment in a beautiful and central part of the city. Gerdur is very helpful and welcoming, and our kids felt at home. We will definitely stay here again if ever we’re back in Gothenburg.

The apartment is fantastic, and is inspired by Gerdur's creative work. It's cozy and we really enjoyed being there. There are 2 toilets, plenty of space, good beds and generally warm surroundings. Although our train was 2 hours late, Gerdur was flexible and super accommodating.

During my first week at a new job, I lived here. I slept really well in the surprisingly large room and although I only rented a room, it felt like I had rented the entire apartment as I was allowed to use the kitchen and bathroom. Ali seems like a very descent and nice person and we rarely met while I was there, but I recommend Ali and his place for your next trip to Gothenburg.

Quiet, very convenient location near Partille centrum (busses, very goog shopping mall). With the yellow bus you get directly from Gotenburg in 8 minutes to Partille and from ther you can take many busses to Ali apartment

It is a nice place, located well within city limits, could reach easily from central station, and place is a wonder how they have managed to provide within compact space. The stairs to the bed are bit uncomfortable, if you have elderly or pregnant people. Rest all is perfect.

In this little house on the hill I always live when I'm in Gothenburg. It has everything one could want for a smooth and comfortable stay. Both practical and cozy. Like the extra cozy factor of lying in the attic and watching a movie.

Henrik and family are amazing hosts. The home is small but super clean and it has everything we needed. We cooked nice meals there. The location is very convenient and the forest is 5 mins away. We did great walks to a lake. There is great public transportation communication, even to/from the airport. Check in/out was very simple and communication was perfect. I recommend this place.
