Adriana met us at the waterbus and welcomed us to the apartment. The apartment is in a very good location with easy access by frequent bus to the waterbus terminal. The neighbourhood is quiet and pretty. The view across the lagoon is spectacular day and night and the frequent water traffic makes for added interest.

My wife and I stayed in this apartment for 5 days. Overall we liked the stay. This is 2 bedroom spacious apartment with a large bed in one BR and two beds in another. So a family of 4 would feel comfortable there. The apartment is in a good place, just 15 minutes walking from the boat terminal. The view from the windows was even better than we expected! Air condition was great. We've got plenty of towels. Kitchen equipped with all basic stuff but we definitely noticed it was no coffee machine there. Another drawback was a lack of Wi-Fi.

Adriana contacted us in advance and made our very first Air B`n`B experience a great one. We felt safe and almost at home. She waited for us patiently because we got a great delay of our flight. It was also very comfortable that there was cold water and some kitchen basics (oil/vinnegar, sugar, salt, pepper, coffee, marmelade, bread, noodles, tuna...) around that we could use the first days. What we wanted: quiet neighborhood, still central, beach and culture vacation combined. Her apartment is just as described: quiet and beautiful neighborhood. The view is really fantastic. We used the view as a TV replacement and stared outside the whole evening. The bus stop is just opposite of the appartment and takes us in five minutes to the main ferry station (the drivers do drive fast!) if we wanted to do day trips to Venice or Pelestrina or an island hopping tour. There were a lot of towels and bedsheets. The AC was quite helpful because it was over 30* during the day. The beach with mostly locals is a slow ten minute walk. The beautiful 1930s architecture Airport Nicelli is just five minutes walking away. The only "negative" thing for us: the next bigger supermarket that we found is in "downtown" (= five minutes with the bus, additional five minutes walking), awefully touristy street. So we bought loads of food to not having to go there again, because we liked our neighborhood and the quiet beach much more... All in all, if she takes us again we will be happy to come back!

Communication with Adriana was just perfect, quick and efficient answers.She helped us with a good description to find the way from the airport in the evening and was waiting for us at the appartment to show us around. It was very nice to find some bread, jam, coffee and milk, water, there, prepared for the first morning, although there is a supermarket in the center of Lido, opened until late. The location is very nice and green, next to the church of San Nicola, overlooking the (URL HIDDEN) is especially nice to stay there, if you like the mix of visiting Venice and Lido and need to escape from busy Venice.

This was my third visit in three years to Luca's apartment, so I suppose that speaks for itself. I can recommend him confidently to anyone who would like to spend some time in Venice (not too) far from the madding crowd! S. Elena, which is where the apartment is situated, only a few minutes' walk from the waterbus stop, is an almost tourist free area of Venice. It has three shops and three restaurants and is only one stop away from Lido, where there is a large Conad store just two minutes walk from the waterbus. The closeness to Lido is also ideal for anyone who would like to spend a day by the sea. There is also a waterbus which runs from S. Elena to Murano, so you can see that it is very handily placed. Luca, it goes without saying, is an excellent host. As it happens, we didn't need to ask him for much in the way of guidance, but we had his mobile number, just in case. I should also mention that the cooking facilities in the flat are excellent.

We are so happy we chose Luca's apartment. The location was very convenient, close to everything. Luca was an amazing host, very helpful. The apartment was very beautiful and clean. It had a very large space and everything that you would need for a pleasant stay in Venice. I would recommend this apartment to anyone and I would definitely stay there again!

Luca was very helpful and friendly, keeping in touch regularly bef was creative before we arrived, and booking our water taxi for our group. The flat was lovely and in a nice residential area, which was just what we wanted to try this visit, having been to other busier areas - also it's proximity to the Biennale gardens and Arsenal. We are thinking of booking for two year's time, I think the only problem will be fitting everyone in, all five want to go again plus a few more who've since heard about our lovely time!

This apartment is great! Located in a very calm area, with a park nearby (which is very uncommon in Venice) and with a vaporetto stop very close. Me and my husband had a great time here and we will definetly come back. Contact with Luca was easy and effective. Our train was late and Luca allowed us to do a late check in. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen has all the needed devices. I highly recommend this apartment!

This apartment was wonderful! It is located in a more quiet area of Venice, which is great for families or anyone seeking relaxation, but a short Vaporetto (water bus) ride away from the beach and the central part of Venice. It is about a 10min stroll from the apt. to nearest Vaporetto stop. There is a playground, shops, and a few restaurants within walking distance. The apartment itself is spacious, clean, and has everything you would need (3 bedrooms, kitchen, living area, and bathroom). Luca was very welcoming (even bringing us extra fans as we were there in the boiling heat of August) and helped us get a lay of the land, pointing out places of interest as well as providing "need to know information" about Venice. Truly a great place to stay while exploring the beauty of this city.

Me and my family had the best time at Luca's apartment. The apartment is quite big and comfortable for 5 people, so well decorated in Venetian style. It is a quite neighborhood, about 15 minutes walking from St. Mark's square or 5 minutes in the boat ride. Luca is very caring and attentive. He explained us everything in detail about Venice (even organized the taxi for us to the airport) and was very reachable whenever we had a question/issue.

We had a great time in Venice and in no small part was that due to Luca. He has a great flat in probably the best part of town, right next to parks, park views and only a short stroll to buses (water busses in Venice) and a great little pizzeria just down the road. I highly recommend the place.

Luca's apartment was very clean and well appointed. It had everything we could need. Luca was a great host, he met us at the apartment and was very friendly and helpful. He also gave us a very nice bottle of wine. The apartment was in a quiet part of Venice close to parkland but was only a short 20 min. walk from Saint Marco's square. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this place.

Simply perfect! The place is well located, just few steps from the vaporetto, yet far enough from the canal and the noise around it. Murano is a great choice for all who would wish to avoid the crowds and touristic spleen. The room is very bright and spacious, equipped in coffee machine, etc. Big, comfy bed guarantees good dreams, and the Murano's accents all around the house, make this Airbnb experience a truly unique one. The Muriel and her husband are excellent hosts; kind, discret, hospital and friendly. It's a place definitely to be revisited!

We arrived to be greeted warmly by both Muriel and her husband Mario. Their house is a beautiful 8 mins walk along the amazing canals of Murano. The waterbus to Venice is less than 1 min from the house. The rooms in their house are magnificent! And the breakfast each day was 5 bathroom really nice too. Muriel helped me from buying bus ticket and also came to meet me so it was very easy to arrive her place. She also effort to help me when I need. Room and bed were big and clean with delicate decos. Andre's apartment is wonderful. It is steps from the boat to/from the airport, steps from the water, and easy walking distance to restaurants and bars. It's along a quiet street, so offers a serene stay, while still close to all the lively spots to visit. The courtyard is an extra special touch for lounging after walking around the city. Andre made check in easy and gave us great suggestions for places to eat and drink nearby.

Andre's property is in a quiet, secluded area away from the hustle of Venice central. It is conveniently close to the Strada Nova, and within very close walking distance to the waterbuses. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Andre`s appartement is one of the hidden gems in Venice. Tastefully decorated it is located in a more quiet part of Venice where real Venetians live - but S. Marco, Ponte Rialto and the rest of touristic Venice is reachable within a few minutes by feet. Communication with Andre is very good. The appartement is equipped with everything you need and sitting in your own garden in Venice is a rare joy.

We had a great stay here. The location is even better than expected as the boat arrives really close by from both airport and most other boats across island. Very cute place, very clean, and near some reallymnicr restaurants. Much more local and way better than staying in the middle of all the people and busy tourist area.

Andre's place is impeccably decorated, the courtyard area is a nice place for a glass of wine before roaming the streets of Venice. It was very easy to get to from the train station and Andre gave advice on which water bus to take and met us and walked us to the apartment. The location is tucked away from all the tour locations so it felt calmer. He gave us recommendations for an authentic local dinner and wine bar so we felt more like locals. Check out was effortless. It was a great experience overall!

What a lovely place to stay! very quiet neighborhood and a beautiful house. Bed and bathroom are very good. The owner did everything to make us feel at home. The breakfast was perfect! lots of things to chose from, sweets, cheese and ham for the sandwiches. Yoghurt, fruit and cereal. Coffee and tee. Contact before arriving was great, she gave us very good instructions on how to find her home. Also gave us good directions for local transport and local places to eat. A very good combination of pease and quiet and close to Venice. We would absolutely recommend it!!

Elide's BnB was absolutely delightful, and she was absolutely amazing in every way. From a welcome coffee and snack to cheerful morning filled with tasty breakfasts and a doppio espresso delivered by Elide herself, I couldn't have asked for a better vacation spot. The place was even better than the pictures depicted and an easy 10 min Vaporetto ride to Venice. A perfect getaway! Thank you Elide!

We would definitely stay there again. The location and room was lovely. Elide was very kind and helpful and provided a great breakfast and freshly made Cappucinno's each morning. Lido is a great alternative to staying in Venice.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lido! We arrived very late due to train delays and were unable to get into connect with Elide, however she was very kind and understanding and was still awake upon our late arrival! The rooms were pristine, the bed very comfortable, everything was perfect. The breakfast in the morning was fit for a king and we can't thank Our hosts Elide and Andre enough for the hospitality, sincerity and helpful advise. Highly recommend staying here!

We had a very warm welcome. As we arrived late evening in Lido, Elida served us a light refreshment upon arrival before we headed for dinner. The apartment is tucked away in a quiet residential area yet a short walk away to the bus/boat terminal. Restaurants and shops too, are a short walk away. Room was nice and clean with good enough space to move around. Bathroom was clean and room was serviced daily. Breakfast was lovely and delicious. Elida served us nice coffee everyday. She is a wonderful host and we loved talking to her.

Paolo's place was located in the center of Venice! I loved the view from the window from my room that over looked the roofs of other buildings! Although it was in the center of the city, a bit tucked in so it was also nice and quiet! This is a wonderful place to stay - very cozy and sleeping under the wooden beams with views of the city from my window made me feel a part of the city. It's tucked into an alley so even though it was a quick walk to both the Rialto Bridge and St Marks, you didn't hear any noise. A simple breakfast was brought to your room each morning.

If you are traveling to Venice by yourself then THIS IS THE PLACE!! Centrally located, warmly welcomed. Very clean and cozy, with a sweet view out of the window. San Marco is a maze so it does take a while to navigate, but once you get familiar to the streets it's a perfect city to just wander around. Also the breakfast is included and very homey. Overall a great experience and definitely worth it!

Our stay at Damiano's place was great. It's a two minute walk from the Vaporetti, and most attractions are within walking distance. The spacious apartment was neat, clean, well equipped and cosy. The showers worked well and the bed was comfortable. Damiano was easily contactable, picked us up when we arrived in Venice and left us a list of places to visit and eat at. We couldn't have asked for a better experience in Venice.

At literally the last minute we contacted Francesca who let us stay with her! Upon arriving she gave us wonderful travel and restaurant recommendations and a helpful map for our time in Venice. Francesca & Guiseppe's apartment is exactly as pictured, a very spacious, fancy private room, in a beautiful old historic building. The location is superb, very close to great restaurants, and just a 5-6 minute walk to the water taxi station. Both Francesca & Guiseppe went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and we really enjoyed visiting with them, as they are simply lovely and generous people. There are no words to adequately describe the wonderful experience we had at the home of Paolo and Ricardo. From the moment I booked the reservation until the time they bid us farewell they were kind, gracious and helpful. The apartment was stocked with fruit, yogurt and pastries for our breakfast on the day of departure, they gave us an extremely helpful and necessary map of Venice and they told us where to find the best pizza in Venice (right across the street!). The apartment is absolutely lovely and the beds are comfortable with AC in every room should you need it. I can't recommend this wonderful apartment highly enough and when we go back to Venice (which we will) I hope we can stay here again. Thank you so very much, Paolo and Ricardo!

Paolo was an excellent host and I like his hospitality. The house was absolutely marvellous and well arranged. You will feel quite refreshed on entering the house. The location of the apartment was best , with lots of restaurants downstairs and water taxi stop quite close to the house. Paolo has made all the arrangement for our breakfast and food for kids which was really a nice gesture. He also was waiting for us at the Taxi stand and was continuously guiding us to arrive at the place. All in all it was a pleasant and nice stay. This was a stunning apartment. The hosts met us at Waterbus from our trip to Burano. They were warm, inviting and generous. Tea, coffee and biscuits for us to enjoy on our arrival. The apartment had a separate entrance. Everything was considered with fully equipped kitchen, lovely crisp laundered linen, white towels, sets of keys for all four of us and even matching umbrellas. I adored this. The apartment needless to say was impeccable, spotless ( even smelt divine). A very high standard. Better than high quality hotel experience. I would highly recommend this apartment. What's more it was centrally located to everything we desired to see and explore!! With rated restaurant at the front of the apartment. Loved it !!!

The Lido, is the only way to go in Venice which is choked with tourists from the ships. There is a one hour ferry ride from the Marco polo airport directly to the Lido. There is then a bus which will drop you off at the end of the line at this fabulous Airbnb location. A beach and a bar is just a few steps away. At the Ferry landing is the center of town which is walkable with great shops and outside dining. And there are some fabulous properties on the Lido. Get a 48 hour vaporreto pass if you stay for 2 days and have unlimited use of the local boats. But please have a collared shirt after 6 o'clock if you intend to go to Harry's bar.

Nicola was very helpful when he picked us up. Gave us a trip around Lido and then showed us around the apartment. This is a lovely apartment. For the next time we would prefer to be closer to the Boat station as it is a 15min bus ride-although buses are very regular.

The stay in the apartment was perfect. Everything was as expected and showed in the photos. Very close to San Marcuola vaporetto stop and to Alilaguna stop (although we had a bit problem with Alilaguna organization). Perfect place to stay for some days in Venize. We highly recommend it.

We had a very enjoyable short break of 5 days in Venice and certainly thanks to the apartment of J & F. It was very pleasant stay and walk again after a long day and discover it was like we were coming home. Very cozy, practical and quiet. The next day after breakfast we were fit again and ready for the day. There was concern immediately and correctly to an email from us during our stay. Waarvor another heartfelt thanks!

The apartment is about the 10 mins walk from the train station or just by the water taxi station. Superb location. Jeanette was waiting for us at the apartment when we arrive. Communication was great and she was so sweet to prepare a cot and a baby chair for my little one without even me requesting for it. Thumbs up for the thoughts. Jeanette apartment was super clean. All appliances are new and working condition. First apartment I stayed that provide foil and wrap for cooking use. Jeanette really put in effort to ensure is a livable place like your own home. The stay was perfect. Annalisa gave us a map and instructions to find very typical and non-touristic restaurants and places, this was very nice. And she even spoke to us in French: she has a very good French level (way better than my inexistant Italian level ;-) ). The apartment was conveniently located: at a few bridges distance of San Marco Plaza by foot.

The room is spacious and clean, the kitchen has all the necessary elements to make a good breakfast. At the end of the street bars and restaurants very good to eat or drink, as well as a pharmacy and a supermarket. Great time at the Venice and return to this accommodation without hesitation.

We loved the place and Francesca was extremely helpful and friendly!

Catharine waited at the vaporetto stop that we had we previously indicated, despite our late arrival (after midnight), despite that we had to make a round trip by vaporetto after a line error of our share. She then led us to the apartment, and gave them some necessary instructions for a perfect grip in the hands of the apartment. Everything is in this apartment: the toiletries (shower and bath towel, shampoo and shower products, hair dryer), necessary for breakfast (tea, coffee, biscuits, jam, sugar, etc ... ). The decor is neat and fairly modern, and this accommodation is fully equipped for a family of 2 adults and 2 children 10 and 13 years. Thank you for all Catharine.

Beautiful, cozy and clean apartment in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Francesca is super friendly and communication was easy. I would definitely recommend staying in Francesca's flat when visiting Venice!

Beautiful rental in a quiet neighborhood. An easy walk from the train station but away from the mobs of people. Great eats nearby and an awesome foodie guide book that we toted around with us. The apt is nicely furnished with quality pieces. Francesca was friendly, prompt to reply, and professional.

The place is great, Catharine was great, the neighborhood was great. We were traveling with a 2 and 5 yr old, and this space was perfect for us.

Apartment very nice and spacious, clean and well maintained. Located in Cannaregio, the perfect area because a few minutes walk from the tourist but very quiet and relaxing after a day on the central areas. In parallel to excellent local cicheti and restaurants. The hostess available and ready to answer every question. I highly recommend.
