Holiday rentals with a patio in Sandown

Fantastic stay for a long weekend with my wife! The location was perfect for exploring the town, and the exclusive development added a touch of luxury. The apartment was spotless and well-maintained, with a great view of the river from the balcony - The seating and table was very comfortable. The one-bedroom layout worked well for us, with spacious rooms and a hall. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. A big plus was the convenient car parking, just a stone's throw from the lift. One tip for future guests: make sure to pick up the garage key fob from the apartment before unloading your car! Overall, we were very comfortable here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

We had the best time at Hannah’s place! One of the most relaxing breaks we have been on and we are twins parents, so that’s saying a lot! :) I hope my review can be useful for parents of toddlers/babies, as this lovely place is a dream for this age group. It’s massive, has anything you need and it has access to a massive field where kids can play for hours! Lovely welcome hamper which was very handy, kitchen has dishwasher, washing machine and it’s equipped for cooking pretty much anything (we needed up enjoying meals at home both days). It’s a 7 min drive to Peppa Pig World, which is why we came in the first place. Few minutes to the lovely nearer town. The barn is so quiet, you can barely ear a thing, so lovely sleep. Can accommodate easily more people, as space is very big. Bathroom is fantastic, double sinks and a bath big enough to bath babies at the same time. Shower is Great too and great attention to details for towels, shampoo etc. I wish we stayed longer!

Thanks to Wendy and Barry for a lovely stay at The Hideaway. It is a delightful little place and they have thought of every practical thing needed for a comfortable stay, including some welcome treats! We have no hesitation in recommending The Hideaway for a break in Hampshire.

Beautiful, spotless flat in a great location, with a fantastic sea view from the master bedroom and balcony. Shelley’s communication was excellent and we were so grateful for the incredibly thoughtful touches when we arrived - our toddler absolutely loved the card :D It all made our stay feel extra special. For anyone with small children we highly recommend Godshill for a great playpark and the Griffin pub which has its own maze and outdoor play area. Our toddler loved the Ventnor paddling pool and we particularly loved Shanklin beach for lots of soft sand and shallow clear water to paddle in. The Nook in Shanklin does an incredible breakfast too :-) We loved the Amazon zoo world and Wildheart animal sanctuary as well. Thank you so much for a blissful long weekend full of lovely memories!

Meadow flat is a lovely base for exploring the Isle of Wight. The flat is situated in the lovely little town of Shanklin and is easy to reach by car. Leon and Jac are quick to respond to any queries and Jac was a great help with the ferry reservations. The flat is comfortable and equip with everything you could need. We would stay again!

Wow, What a find! Micasa was absolutely perfect! So many little touches that really makes this place a true home from home! it was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. Sonia’s communications were excellent and efficient. We were greeted with a welcome pack on arrival which was a lovely touch. The location is brilliant for getting to the high street and the beach, and also exploring the rest of the island. We had lots of local recommendations sent over to us and any questions we had were answered quickly. (Crave ice cream shop is a must!) If only we could give it more than 5 stars 🌟 We loved our stay and will certainly return next time we visit the island.

We had a fantastic week staying at this property with our family group of 11 plus two dogs. The house was absolutely perfect for our needs - spacious, stylish and very well thought out for hosting a larger group. We especially appreciated the open plan kitchen/ dining/ living space which made our family meals and evenings together really enjoyable. The kitchen was very well equipped and everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The welcome pack was an added bonus. The beds were all comfy and the showers good - always plenty of hot water for all of us. One of us has an electric car and it was a great convenience to be able to charge it up overnight on the driveway at the property, another reason for booking this house. We enjoyed spending time in the garden - plenty of seating there. The property was in a great location in the lovely village of Seaview being only 5 minutes walk to the beach. There were also wonderful views of the Solent from the back bedrooms. Highly recommend.

Mary is a first class host. She is friendly and efficient with her communication. Her house is beautiful and ideal for a break for two. The house is spotlessly clean, very well-equipped and very homely. The house is at the end of a cul-de-sac and is extremely quiet - we could even hear the owls hooting at night! It has a lovely sunny garden and dedicated parking. Highly recommended.

We met Jill upon arriving at The Coachhouse and she was very warm and welcoming. Jill also provides great information before your visit too and is a great host. The Coachhouse itself has everything you need within it for a great stay. Very clean and cosy and in a great area with a large field and walks just across the road which our dog Bracken enjoyed very much. The area itself is very peaceful and just a short walk into Old Shanklin. Would definitely recommend the Coachhouse and wouldn’t stay anywhere else when we next visit the Isle of Wight.

I have stayed in many Airbnb properties over the years, but this surpasses them all! The location on the beach, with facilities which lacked nothing, would top anyone's expectations. The décor was bright and fresh, suiting the house perfectly. This property is of the highest standard.

This is our second stay at Longwood Edge and we loved it just as much the second time round. It’s a fabulous home in a great location. Really well laid out with everything you could possibly need. We absolutely love the open plan living space, it’s great for spending time with friends and family. The outside space is great too, a lovely spot for a drink and relaxing. It’s a peaceful location but only a few minutes drive from both Ventnor and Shanklin. I would definitely recommend it.

We had the most lovely stay! We felt right at home, it was beautiful and comfortable and we were in complete awe the moment we walked in. The amenities were perfect. Cannot fault anything! Kate was extremely helpful, attentive and friendly. She made us feel so welcome and was extremely responsive. I would highly recommend a stay here and we will definitely be back to stay again.

What a wonderful stay at the Little Blue house. There was lots to entertain our little ones and the sleeping arrangements worked well with the bunk bed! The house is very clean and the shower is great (as is the bath!). It’s a quiet area but within easy reach of all that you could possibly need during your stay. The kitchen was spacious and very well equipped. The walks in to town were easy and likewise to the beach. Thank you so much!

We had a fabulous weekend in Ventnor. The accommodation had everything we needed and more. It’s a light and airy space with wonderful sea views. It’s close to town and for lovely walks. Plus parking! Rodney was the perfect host. Thank you.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at David’s apartment. The whole place was beautifully presented and very clean. Whilst being attached to the back of the house, the apartment feels completely separate and tucked away with no noise but perfectly located right off of Union Street. We enjoyed spending time at the pub only a 20 second walk away as well as exploring the town and using Ryde as a base to travel other parts of the island. We didn’t have a car but the buses and trains made it easy to get around. Highly recommend for a short getaway, we were welcomed with milk in the fridge and some sweet treats. Thanks again to David and Marion, fantastic hosts and extremely accommodating!

Perfect unit for a couple to relax and enjoy the incredible ocean view. Great amenities and a lovely welcome pack. Martin was able to offer us an early check-in which was greatly appreciated. Quiet location with only the sound of the waves and a few seagulls, yet very close to things to do. Easy on site parking.

This is a wonderfully, fabulous gem of a place! Very rarely do I give full-5-star reviews, across every category, but this AirBnB scored 5 stars all the way! It's a wonderfully quiet, very beautiful location, surrounded by exotic and lush vegetation. It is spotlessly clean, excellent facilities -all you need for showers etc and lots of lovey teas, coffees and basics for breakfast, with wonderful cooking facilities, if one was so inclined! There are lovely shampoos, lotions etc, in the bathroom, games to play, excellent local amenity directories, that Vikki has collated, - and lovely views of the Sea. What a joy. Thank you. Pippa

Nice and clean, easy access from the back if you want to avoid the steps, roomy, modern and well catered.

A spotless very cute place. Thoughtful decor and very well appointed. Only improvement would be the supply of a little mop as it rained and it was difficult to keep the lovely stairs clean. It was impossible to abound a little water in the entrance. Other than that tiny little thing we loved it. I will book again when I plan my next trip. I found it perfect for my fishing trip as it is central to whole of the massive harbour system. Emsworth is lovely with lots of pubs restaurants and shops. Fiona was excellent.

We had a lovely stay at John & Lynn’s place! They were very accomodating and arranged an early check in for us. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed, including a well stocked kitchen. The beds were very comfy too! The area was lovely, quiet but close to the main area. We would definitely recommend staying here.
