Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Santa Croce, Venice

Pamela’s Airbnb was perfect for our mother-daughter trip to Venice! The location couldn’t have been better, just steps from charming cafes, beautiful canals, and all the sights we wanted to explore. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and felt incredibly safe and welcoming. Pamela was a kind and thoughtful host, ensuring we had everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. We made wonderful memories here and would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful view and right next to Farragona water/boat taxi. The hostess was wonderful- flexible with our check-in/out. Easy to communicate. The apartment is spacious and clean. We always felt safe. It is a more quiet area and that was just what I was hoping - peaceful and relaxing.

Chiara hat immer schnell geantwortet und ich war mir schon vor der Reise sicher, dass alles klappen wird. Sie hat uns herzlich empfangen und die Lage war nett und in der Nähe der Vaporetto-Station. Nachts war es schön ruhig, außerdem war es sauber. Es gab eine Bialetti, guten Kaffee, Toaster, alles prima.

We loved the place! Charming and well appointed and mostly perfect location. The roof terrace made it the most perfect!

Excelente alojamiento, muy buen ubicado, cerca de la estación del tren y cerca de los vaporeti. Me gustó la decoración y el equipamiento. Fuimos tres huéspedes y estuvimos muy cómodos

This stay makes 5 weeks we have spent in this Airbnb. I can honestly say there is nothing I would change about it. Everything you could need is provided and everything works like a charm. Die Unterkunft war einfach zu finden, der Check in problemlos. Die Lage ist sehr gut, etwas ruhiger abseits aber nur 10 Minuten von den Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön, es gibt nette Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Den Kindern (11 und 13) hat es sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt un kommen gerne wieder.

Le logement est très bien placé , il est propre, la literie très confortable. Le quartier est calme donc agréable , peu de touriste , et idéalement placé pour profiter d’excellent restaurants à proximité. L’accueil était juste génial , des explications claires, l’hôte a vraiment pris le temps de nous indiquer pleins d’endroit sympa ! Et le petit plus , elle parle très bien français et est super réactive en cas de pépin. Elle nous a également arrangé par rapport à notre départ tardif pour déposer nos valises en attendant ! Logement donc au top en tout point

Klar zu empfehlen, ich habe selten einen Gastgeberin gehabt, die so oft und so viel kommuniziert hat und dazu so nett war. Selbst als wir Probleme mit den Mücken hatten hat sie uns ein neues Gerät gekauft und vorbeigebracht, dass uns die Nächte erleichtert hat. Küche, Bad etc. waren sehr sauber und nett eingerichtet. Auch oben war alles gut und sauber. Einzige Problem sind echt die Mücken. Empfehlung von mit - nehmt einen Mehrfachstecker mit und steckt in diesen das Insektizid Gerät und den Wlan Verstärker von unten. Dann habt ihr auch oben Empfang.

We were welcomed by Patricia who greeted us at a meeting place and directed us to the Airbnb home. Throughout our stay, Patricia was accommodating and very responsive to any queries we had. The Airbnb itself was beautiful and in the perfect location with tourist attractions only a short walk away. We really enjoyed our stay and will be sure to return if we ever come back to Venice!

There aren’t enough superlatives to positively describe this stay! The SUPER HOST AND SON went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, accommodating and pleasurable. Everything was beyond the description in a great way. We will be returning next year and will seek to stay at this location only. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour de trois nuits à Venise dans le logement de Valeria et Matteo. Tout était parfait du début à la fin ! Le logement était impeccable, très propre, bien équipé et idéalement situé pour découvrir la ville. Mais ce qui a vraiment fait la différence, c’est l’accueil de Valeria et Matteo : toujours disponibles, réactifs et d’une grande gentillesse. Ils nous ont donné plein de super conseils pour les restos, les balades, les petits coins à découvrir… On sent qu’ils font tout pour que le séjour se passe au mieux, et ça, c’est vraiment précieux. Un grand merci à eux deux pour leur accueil exceptionnel. On recommande les yeux fermés !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Close to everything, but off the beaten path so the apartment was quiet and peaceful. Had everything we needed and more! The washer dryer and bathtub were definitely helpful!! Our only regret was that we had to leave! ❤️

We had an amazing stay at Giovanni and Susannas apartment. The communication straight from the start was excellent. The instructions were clear and we managed to easily find the apartment and enter easily, even though we got there really late at night. The area is amazing, close enough to all of the must-sees in Venice, but lovely and quiet and feels much more authentic and local. There are fantastic restaurants just around the corner too! Thanks again! We will definitely stay again when we are back in Venice.

This was by far the best Airbnb we have ever booked. The place is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, but what stood out to me was how they thought about every single detail. For example, I love to cook, and in the places we stay, most of the time, it is not the best experience. Someone just went and bought utensils without much thought. Here, you have anything you would need to cook a nice meal. This level of care was not only evident in the kitchen but also throughout the entire apartment and in the entire guest experience, from check-in to checkout. Valentina is also incredibly responsive and kind. Thank you for a great experience!

We absolutely loved our stay at Olivia’s beautiful apartment in Venice. Everything was exactly as described — even better! Olivia is a wonderful, warm-hearted host who made us feel at home from the very first moment. We were greeted with a lovely welcome gift, and every detail in the apartment shows how much care she puts into making her guests feel comfortable. The rooftop terrace is simply stunning — the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine while soaking in the Venetian atmosphere. We also appreciated Olivia’s great local restaurant recommendations; we discovered some fantastic places away from the usual tourist crowds. The building itself has so much character and history — you truly feel like you’re living in old Venice, with authentic decor and a special charm you won’t find in modern hotels. In short: we felt completely at home and couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you, Olivia, for an unforgettable stay — we will definitely come back!

If you are looking for the perfect place to stay in Venice, this is it! Beautiful place and was very comfortable. Hosts were extremely helpful and responsive to questions and assistance with private water taxis. Highly recommend this rental, couldn’t have asked for a better experience! It's a nice atmospheric apartment with everything included. The building is in walkable distance from the main train station. Especially thanks to the host for engaging and entertaining stories and tips
