Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Venice

Pamela’s apartment is by far the best we ever rented in Europe and US. The place is beautiful, modern, spacious and most importantly: spotless. The apartment is equipped with everything including a washer and dryer which are hard to find in Europe, especially the dryer. We read all the reviews before we booked it, and we were still surprised to find such a place in Venice! The location is excellent, close to the rail station, parking garage and vaporetto station so there is no need to drag your luggage through Venice. The area is very safe and there are many restaurants. Pamela and her son Giovanni are perfect hosts, Giovanni even waited for us at the rail station when we arrived. The only regret is that we only had 2 days in Venice, but we will be back!

Don’t hesitate to book. Extremely friendly hosts, great location, and a good value. Unlike many Airbnbs, this one feels like you’re staying with old family friends—between the service, the charming decor, and the location, it’s a can’t miss.

Elisa was an amazing host. Very responsive, the communication was incredible. The check in went smooth. The place was pristine. Everything was clean and the home is very comfy. It is a great place to relax and get away from the routine. I recommend this place!!

Wonderfully quiet and quaint spot in Venice! Easy to walk to all the sites and loved being right on the water with access to the water buses and airport shuttle. The space itself is so lovely and beautifully decorated. Highly recommend!!

This stay makes 5 weeks we have spent in this Airbnb. I can honestly say there is nothing I would change about it. Everything you could need is provided and everything works like a charm. We have just arrived home after a wonderful 5 days in Venice. The apartment was immaculate and beautiful location on a canal. Paolo the host could not do enough for us. He helped with our transfer from the airport and booked our water taxi transfer back to the airport. He met us as soon as we arrived to make sure we found the apartment and even though we were early we were able to store our bags in the apartment. Paolo then showed us where the local restaurants were. We ate in this area a number of times. Lovely restaurants. I would 100% recommend this accommodation. It is of high spec with added special touches like a welcome food pack and extra pillows. Beds are very comfortable and it’s nice to have the courtyard too. Only about 25 minute walk to St Mark’s Square. Do not hesitate to book this apartment. Thank Paolo for a lovely stay.

This is a wonderful apartment in a quite area. It is very comfortable and is just as pictured. We loved our daily view from the balcony. Very walkable location to the main areas (15-20 min to main area). There are many places to eat and shop nearby. Please note there are no elevators. I simply filled my extra carry on at the base of the stairs to make it easier for me to get the luggage up the stairs. Be sure to follow their clear instructions to get to the apartment…. Definitely take their instructions for the Valporetti Ferry. It brings you just 3 minutes away from their location. Avoid walking from the train station because you will encounter many bridges with no ramps.. not fun! The air runs from the living room so we kept the bedroom door open to keep it cooler. The couch in the living room pulls out into a bed. There is a full kitchen and washer… everything was very clean. It had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

We were very impressed with the details in this gorgeous apartment, the quaint view and how easy it was to get to from the shuttle bus drop off. A perfect spot for an overnight in Venice!

Absolutely the place to stay when visiting Venice!!! It was peaceful and quaint and absolutely gorgeous!!! Very comfortable place to come back to after a long day of touring the city.

We loved the place. The apartment is conveniently located just steps away from Plaza San Marco and the vaporeto terminals. Andreas was very good at providing transportation recommendations. We probably saved hundreds of dollars. Pack light, Venice is crowded and the streets are tight. You can almost walk the whole city. There is a wonderfull little coffee shop steps away from the apartment on Frezzaria St. and you have to schedule one dinner at Osteria San Marcos, 30 seconds from the apartment. Take the vaporeto to Murano, the island next door. It is less crowded and beautiful also. We will definitely be back.

Perfect location, quiet neighborhood great place to stay full disclosure the stairs are not for the faint of heart. It is four stories up. If you have lots of luggage get some help had a great time. Our host was amazing.

Great place! Would definitely recommend. It is bigger than the pictures for sure. Central to all kinds of things, and Sofia is so nice.

We were welcomed by Patricia who greeted us at a meeting place and directed us to the Airbnb home. Throughout our stay, Patricia was accommodating and very responsive to any queries we had. The Airbnb itself was beautiful and in the perfect location with tourist attractions only a short walk away. We really enjoyed our stay and will be sure to return if we ever come back to Venice!

We enjoyed the apartment very much! The location, the old building, the canal right at our front door, the patio in the back, the easy walk to almost anywhere, quieter area than the main tourist sites - all of it made for an enjoyable and memorable stay!

I had a great 1 night stay at this flat. Elio was incredibly kind and responsive. It was a short walk from the bus/train station. I took the ACTV bus from the airport to the Mestre station for €10. It was very easy and quick to then get to the flat. I appreciated Elio’s recommendations and house guide. It’s also very easy to get from Mestre to Venice. Cheap and efficient bus systems, as well as a train from the train station.

Watersdoor was the highlight of our Italian honeymoon! At the start of our stay, Maria and her daughter were very friendly and greeted us to show us the way to the condo. Upon our arrival, the candles, mini bottle of champagne, and rose petals were such nice touches. The condo is beautifully decorated, clean, and has all that you need for a stay in Venice. The washer/dryer came in handy as well! Maria provided excellent recommendations (e.g., restaurants, transportation suggestions, sights, special events in the area, etc.) throughout our trip. Maria made our honeymoon a memorable experience and we are very grateful!!

Great area, Paolo's place was welcoming and located in the center of activity. But still quite at night in the unit.

This was by far the best Airbnb we have ever booked. The place is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, but what stood out to me was how they thought about every single detail. For example, I love to cook, and in the places we stay, most of the time, it is not the best experience. Someone just went and bought utensils without much thought. Here, you have anything you would need to cook a nice meal. This level of care was not only evident in the kitchen but also throughout the entire apartment and in the entire guest experience, from check-in to checkout. Valentina is also incredibly responsive and kind. Thank you for a great experience!

We absolutely loved our stay at Olivia’s beautiful apartment in Venice. Everything was exactly as described — even better! Olivia is a wonderful, warm-hearted host who made us feel at home from the very first moment. We were greeted with a lovely welcome gift, and every detail in the apartment shows how much care she puts into making her guests feel comfortable. The rooftop terrace is simply stunning — the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine while soaking in the Venetian atmosphere. We also appreciated Olivia’s great local restaurant recommendations; we discovered some fantastic places away from the usual tourist crowds. The building itself has so much character and history — you truly feel like you’re living in old Venice, with authentic decor and a special charm you won’t find in modern hotels. In short: we felt completely at home and couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you, Olivia, for an unforgettable stay — we will definitely come back!

Truly the most perfect stay we’ve ever had. Donatella is the most thoughtful and helpful host we’ve ever experienced. From the time we booked, she stayed in touch to help with documents, transfers, and gave amazing suggestions for sights and restaurants. Her assistant Chiara was equally wonderful, texting us before arrival and meeting us with a warm welcome that instantly put us at ease. The apartment was spotless and beautiful, in the peaceful art district but still walking distance to everything. The rooftop terrace had unforgettable views of the canals and Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute. Donatella even left gifts for our wives which meant so much. As first-time visitors from the US, we were anxious about the unknown, but Donatella and Chiara made it easy and stress-free. We are already planning our return. If you are lucky enough to book this place, do it without hesitation. This is where you want to stay in Venice. The best Airbnb experience we have ever had, without question
