BehrenSCHLAF vacation home Stay in the thatched farmhouse and discover nature and the countryside well rested. Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. Very bright and modern wooden house with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with sauna, an alcove and sofa bed in the living room, open kitchen, fireplace, covered terrace with lake view, fenced garden with barbecue, rowing boat and 4 bicycles. The bathing and fishing lake with sandy beach and sunbathing lawn is only about 80 steps away, bathing bays for dogs only a few minutes' walk.

The house is located in a very quiet location in the Schaalsee Biosphaerenreservat. It is 10 km to Schaalsee, 5 km to Neuenkirchen Lake, 50 km to the Baltic Sea (traffic jam-free!!!). From the house you can start directly for cycling tours, on adjacent hiking trails. On the very natural property there is also a swimming pond. The house is very bright and very quiet. I also paint there and write and so there is also a large easel available. Pets have a generous run.

The apartment is about 100 m², has 2 rooms, kitchen and bathroom. It is on level ground and has its own entrance. It has its own terrace and is located to the south side of the house. The rooms are furnished with antique furniture. Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, fridge. The bathroom has a large corner bath and a double sink. In the living room is a large flat screen. And many shelves with books to suit every taste.
