Family-friendly holiday rentals in Seneca

The views were beautiful! Pictures don’t do it justice! The location was remote and peaceful, exactly what my husband and I needed! Highly recommend if you want to get away from the hustle bustle of life.

We stayed at Lonnie’s place to celebrate our daughter’s 21st birthday. We are a family of 6, with teenagers of different ages. Lonnie’s place was clean, homey and felt like home. Great restaurants in the area - about 15 min drive in any direction. Place was a bit harder to find at night, but provided directions were perfect and we did not have any trouble at all. Grocery store is a short drive, made our life easier. The location is beautiful - the view of the lake is magical and surrounding area feels very safe. We used the house as a base for hiking trips -big variety of options 10 months or 40 min away. In 4 days we feel we just scratched the surface. Also close to kayaking, tubing and other water sports. Tv downstairs was easy to operate and wifi signal was great - I was able to log into zoom calls for work. Inside the house, the supplies in the kitchen are great: plenty of plates, glasses, cups and cutlery. Also many spices and condiments. Thank you - it was a great time!

This was a great house to stay at. Very comfortable and home like. Loved the view and the large deck. Had everything we needed including toys for kids. Good area, near lots of stuff to do including using the resort amenities, restaurants, waterfalls and shopping. Would stay again.

Great location, close to a lot what the area has to offer.

This place was so peaceful and relaxing. We stayed on the dock or around the fire pit. Mornings were spent drinking coffee on the deck with the gorgeous lake views. Never even turned the TV on. The house was clean and well stocked. There’s lots to do in the area as well. Definitely will be back.

Stunning setting overlooking a beautiful lake; just minutes from town. Very private setting. Loved the history of the cabin- so authentic to the area.

We had a wonderful few days at this mountain cottage. The house is even better than the pictures suggest. It was extremely comfortable and well decorated. Travis was very responsive when I contacted him with questions . All in all an excellent house to rent. Thank you Travis

Amanda's home is beautiful, cozy and it was perfect for our group. The location was spot on with walking distance to the center, bar, restaurants and coffee shops. Amanda is a very hands on hostess, checking up on us and gave us many ideas for our outings. the house was spotless, plenty of towels and everything one needs for a home away from home feel. I am looking forward to going back to Greenville and will definitely stay again at her airbnb. Thank you Amanda!

The condo was exactly as described. It was very comfortable for our family of four. Well stocked kitchen, homey decorations. We especially loved the screen porches. Richard sent clear instructions for check in and check out. Overall, a very nice stay!

This is our 3rd time staying at this location. It is perfect location for riding the Swamp Rabbit Trail and was very close to Furman University where we had a few events. Look forward to returning next year!

Our family had a great stay. The property was beautiful! The cabin was clean and very comfortable for our group of 8. The location was perfect, so close to many beautiful hikes and waterfalls.

Perfect spot for our somewhat last minute getaway. Secluded and quiet, but close to several towns if you want to have supper or listen to a little music. The water right off the dock is deep and swimmable, and the kayaks are great for an easy trip to the main channel of Lake Hartwell. The house itself is beautiful, and comfortable(an important combination). Very clean, with all the necessities that are often absent in vacation rentals(lake towels! coffee filters! salt!). We really loved this lake cabin, and can’t wait to go back.

We had a fantastic stay at the cabin last week. We especially loved the back porch- picnic table for outdoor meals and the big swing was awesome! We walked from the cabin to the start of the Cliffside Lake Trail- what a great location!

The location was great....good neighborhood close to Furman University. The Swamp Rabbit trail ran right behind the house. We liked that was the last house on a dead end so it was nice that there was only a neighbor on one side. The backyard was awesome, especially for the dogs. The house was quaint and cutely decorated, just like the description. I would definitely stay here again! But next time, we would definitely bring bikes so we could ride the trail!

The Lake house was one of the quietest and most peaceful air b-and-b's we have stayed at. The new back deck is the highlight of the lake cabin. The rest of the cabin is fully equipped and functional, but we hardly left the back deck. With its fenced in area and gate was perfect for the dog. The kayaks and dock are a nice addition. It is located close to good dining at Micas restaurant and Whiteside brewery. We came for the hiking in Panthertown area. We will be back again.

Our family enjoyed our time at Leslie’s place. Perfect location for our family trip for Clemson graduation. We had enough space and the ground floor made it perfect for the older folks. Strongly recommend staying here if visiting Clemson for any reason. If you have a specific bed requirement, you should note both the mattress and pillows were very soft. As someone who prefers a sturdier pillow and firmer mattress, I did end up using a different pillow my daughter brought us from her apartment. Outside of that I can’t say enough good things about our experience. Would 100% stay here again. Leslie is lovely.

We had a wonderful stay and felt right at home. Our host even stocked the fridge with breakfast foods for us!

Stayed during the Great Solar Eclipse of 2017 (which, sadly, clouds in the area turned it into the Great Dud of 2017). However, our stay at this great property made it all worthwhile. The unit has an excellent location with fantastic views and clean comfortable accommodations with everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Communications before, during, and after our stay were excellent and we couldn't have asked for a better host. If in the area again, I will certainly be staying here again!

Wow! What an awesome home! Natalie was so accommodating and quick to respond! When we arrived, we were surprised at how much bigger the house was in person! The kitchen and amazing screened in porch is where we spent the majority of our time! The beautiful Lake Jocassee Is only about 40 mins away and definitely worth the drive! Thank you so much Natalie!!! We hope to be back for another friendcation next year!!!

Lisa's Lodge was wonderful; just perfect for the two of us. It was so nice to take a dip in the lovely pool, sit by the the beautiful lake and take walks around the grounds and up the road. Proximity to Anderson yielded a couple of good restaurants and it was also an easy trip to Greenville and its charms. Lisa is very nice and her son offered help in case we needed it during a rainstorm. What a happy experience! We both want to go back!

Jason was very proactive and responsive. Location is removed but still extremely close to all of Seneca’s offerings. Had fun at the pool.

The home is a dream - decorated beautifully, comfortable beds, lovely linens and towels, a screened in porch with a swing plus outdoor eating area. The kitchen was fabulous - excellent appliances and fully stocked with everything you need. Much appreciated that basics like spices and oil were available because no one wants to buy all that for a short stay. The home is situated in a peaceful woody area yet close to amenities. Availed ourselves of the nearby pool. Donna was easy to reach and responded quickly from beginning to end. Already planning a return trip!
