At the end of the cottage is an outdoor kitchen with cold water, oven and stove. A lovely terrace. A little further away, there is a toilet building with a toilet and sink with cold water. No bath. If you want to come to Aalborg and enjoy the city life, it is 20 minutes by car to the city center. The bathing-friendly beaches are 15 km away and can be enjoyed in all seasons. Note! Limited bookings spring/summer 2025 due to construction work on the farm! Welcome to Vandbakkegaarden’s Retro House. Here you will find nature, peace and plenty of cosiness in authentic surroundings. The house is the original cottage built around 1930, while we live in a newer house on the property. The house deserves to be lived in and cared for, and you – our guests, contribute to that. We also appreciate offering our guests a different type of holiday and on a budget.

Holiday apartment by the Fjord

Total renovated holiday apartment of 130 m2 located in the village of Kvols, located at Hjarbæk Fjord. The apartment is located on the 1st floor of the old hay loft on a former country estate. Everything was replaced and renovated in 2012, only the visible ceiling beams are kept. It has beautiful views from the apartment. Cleaning is the responsibility of the tenant, this can be purchased.

My place is close to public transportation. You'll love my place because of the light, the surroundings, the outdoor area. It is about 1500 meters to the city center and pedestrian street. Approximately 3000 meters to marina, beach and forest. My place is good for singles, couples and couples with children (max. 3) and business travelers.

Newly built annex from 2024 in a quiet setting. Located 10 km from Herning and 12 min drive from Messe Center Herning. It is furnished with a double bed (140x200 cm), a table, two chairs, a bathroom with bath and toilet, and a kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. Service is available. The annex is heated and has hot water.
