The house is located by itself on the beach, and here is idyllic, peace and quiet. The cottage is located in the middle of nature, and you will wake up to the sound of waves and wildlife close by. Rødhættes Hus is a tiny house, which is peaceful and idyllic on the shore of Kovad Bækken, in a clearing in the middle of Rold Skov and overlooking the meadow and forest. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful forest lake St. Øksø. The perfect starting point for hiking and mountain biking in Rold Forest and Rebild Hills or as a quiet shelter in the tranquility of the forest, from which life can be enjoyed, perhaps with the mouse owl hovering over the meadow, the squirrel darting up the tree trunk, a good book in front of the wood stove or coziness in the firelight at night.

The house is newly renovated with access to its own terrace and has the most beautiful view over a very special landscape. On starry nights, you can experience the starry sky from the bed through the studio windows in the roof. During the day, you can enjoy the special light that the location close to the sea and fjord casts over the landscape. On the ridge behind the house, there is the finest view of the Limfjord and the countryside behind. It is not far to the fjord, where there are good swimming conditions and the trip there is really beautiful.

The cottage

"The cabin" is a fully insulated wooden cabin with underfloor heating in all rooms. Large living room with kitchen (sofa bed), one room (sofa bed), toilet with bath and a large loft. The “cabin” is 66 m2 and was newly built in 2017. It is located at the bottom of our garden in a private villa area overlooking open fields and trail systems close to forest and beach.
