Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in South West Wales

It was wonderful to stay in Chapel Hill for a few days! Carolynn and Roland are very hospitable and wonderful people, who immediately make you feel at home. Every morning I enjoyed a delicious breakfast and had nice conversations with Carolynn. The house is located in a beautiful and quiet area, but within walking distance of Lynton and Lynmouth. The walk to Watersmeet is also definitely worth it! Or the Exmoor Coaster open bus service to Porlock and Minehead. Also, if you do not have a car at your disposal, you can easily take the bus from Barbrook to Lynton/Lynmouth.

Very comfortable with welcoming friendly hosts, clean bedroom and bathroom with great shower, easy parking and great breakfast choice. Perfect for my overnight stay.

What a lovely B&B. Jill was a fantastic host and helped us to find the building. Great breakfast as well!

The room and home is very colourful and peaceful. Both hosts were very polite and very communicative. They invited me to have tea with them and on excursions. I was busy exploring on my own and having me time but they were very sweet.

Very friendly hosts. Tea and coffee and biscuits was a lovely touch. We had a super bathroom to ourselves. Comfy bed, cosy bedroom. What a delightful, plentiful breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to return Thankyou very much Sarah

What can I say? From the moment I arrived, Naomi was warm and welcoming and made me feel completely at home. She was full of great recommendations for coffee shops and nearby restaurants (there are a number of great ones) and knowledgable about fun day trips and local must-sees. Along with her husband Dave and son Michael, Naomi made my stay a lovely and stress-free one and I would wholeheartedly recommend their home for a stay in Cardiff. Thank you so much, Naomi. You couldn't possibly have been a more gracious host. :)

I can honestly recommend a stay at the Shed without any hesitation at all. It's comfortable, very contemporary and squeaky clean. Lynne met me on arrival, she was very friendly helpfully showing me around, told me how things worked and describing the local area before leaving me to settle in. The lovely comfort of the Shed is enhanced by the convenient extras thoughtfully provided by Lynne such as the unexpected welcome pack, an emergency sewing kit, first aid kit, local guides, dvds and many more. The Shed's location was perfect for my walks, sightseeing and just chilling. Thank you Lynne I hope I get the chance to stay in the The Shed again soon.

We had a fantastic stay! The breakfast was absolutely wonderful and very filling, setting us up perfectly for the day. The host was incredibly responsive and polite, always available to assist and offer recommendations. They went above and beyond by helping us plan our coastline walk, which was one of the highlights of our trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend! Gregg was very welcoming and is in an ideal position to enjoy the town.

We had a wonderful stay at Natasha and Quentin’s place. It has been refurbished to a very high standard throughout. Our bedroom and bathroom were very large and tastefully decorated. The view from our window was glorious, never ending nature, and the bluebells were out. It was so quiet too. Breakfast was locally sourced and delicious. Natasha and Quentin were so friendly and so interested in our days, recommending places to see and eat tailored to our preferences. One recommendation was the sauna on the beach at Llangrannog which was a great experience. We shall definitely return.

We only stayed one night but it was a real treat. Hosts were warm and helpful. Our room was clean and the whole place was thoughtfully organized and prepared. Wild flower bouquets decorated the dining area. My friend relished defeating me at Scrabble there before turning in. Had a wonderful nights sleep.

I absolutely loved my stay here and can confirm it is even more dreamy and cosy than the photos depict. The location is also beautiful and quiet. The breakfast options were great and ideal for fuelling up ahead of a day of hiking. The bed was super comfy and really cosy too. So much great information was also provided on things to do in the local area, which helped me to plan my stay. I will definitely be returning here again to explore the area more.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Jude. She is a lovely, warm, friendly person and I felt at home straight away. The room in comfortable and quiet. The area is quiet, with off-road parking and lots of countryside walking from the doorstep. There is a pub with very good food (wine not so good!) 10ish mins walk through the village, plus a cute little cafe and convenience store. Perfect stay for me - thanks Jude!

The room is in a massive, 200 year old farm house on a real working farm in one of the most beautiful areas of Wales. Right next to town so easy to get to a pub for dinner. The views from strategically placed windows in the room are beyond belief. The bed is enormous, luxurious with fantastic linen. Everything is spotless. Fabulous, modern luxurious shower too. Lush, clean carpets. The host was warm, welcoming and incredibly flexible and accommodating.

We loved our stay here! It was peaceful and remote but also close enough to lots of exploring options. The service from Sid was exceptional. He was so attentive and friendly. The breakfast was a highlight of our stay. It was also very warm which made staying there in October a dream! Thank you so much team!

Outstanding. We were so fortunate to visit Julies Airbnb. Julie (and Paddy) were so welcoming and the accommodation is exceptional. Julie kindly provided a delicious cream tea and the full english breakfast was undoubtedly one of the best we have ever had. Crickhowell offers so much and our only mistake we made was not to stay for more than one night at Julies. Thankyou so much.

Our stay at Rob & Vicky's was amazing. They were very flexible on our arrival time when we informed them we had our flight delayed. Very welcoming, friendly and talkative couple, and everything was super clean and as described in the add. I very much recommend!

We couldn't have found a nicer Airbnb to explore the southwest of Wales. Rachel and her family were excellent hosts and the room was spacious, very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. We very much enjoyed our time and would have no hesitation in returning should the opportunity arise.

We had a wonderful stay here. Both the house and our room were lovely and spacious, exactly what we were hoping for. We received such a warm and friendly welcome from David & Winston the dog which made us feel right at home straight away. We met Claudine later and she was just as friendly and welcoming. The bed was really comfortable, the shower was nice and hot and we had everything we needed for our stay. David came to chat to us as we left and wished us all the best on the rest of our travels which was lovely. Highly recommend! Thank you so much David & Claudine!

Beautifully decorated cottage, which was immaculately clean on arrival. We’d been left groceries including local bread, milk, butter, eggs and a chocolate bunny as it was Easter, which was really thoughtful. The beds were made ready and there were plenty of towels. Lots of thoughtful extras including coffee, a cafetière, toiletries, also laundry and dishwasher tablets were included. The cottage is in a lovely location, just outside the village and surrounded by countryside. We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. Niall was very friendly and communicated well about check-in.

This place is amazing! The best way to sum this stay up is I received way more than what I paid for. It really does have it all, the views, the outdoor tub, the cleanliness, the layout and to top it off the restaurant like breakfast. Everything was flawless from the moment we walked in. I wish I could keep this place a secret but everyone deserves the experience we had. Thank you John for hosting us, we will definitely be back!

Anita is a wonderful host - nothing was too much trouble for her and we had some lovely chats. She prepared a tasty, healthy breakfast for me and was so helpful and flexible, enabling me to make the most of my time and combine work with what felt like a little break. The house is just beautiful with amazing views of the valley and the bedroom was very comfortable and decorated beautifully. I thoroughly recommend.

Lovely escape in the Welsh countryside. A barnhouse cottage dream, full of flowers and fruits and beautiful plants. A trampoline and badminton and lots of games give you plenty to do. Fresh bread and table setting laid out for us each morning. Lovely lovely people who live on the property - could not recommend this place more highly! Cardian has great restaurants nearby, and a close walk to one of Wales most beautifully rated beaches by the National Trust. Will be back soon!
