A 15-minute walk through the wooded valley takes you to a beautiful secluded beach, Abermawr, and just around the corner, a pretty little cove called Aberbach . From these beaches, you can join the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, a breathtaking national park trail hugging the coastline.

Cromen Tŷ Cyw Iâr (Chicken house dome). A slated dome is a unique building, this one looks down the Honddu and Usk valleys and you can see for 25 miles from the star window looking South East. I have reused materials as much as possible in its construction. The original henhouse was rebuilt to create the private bathroom alongside and contains a hot shower, w.c. and basin. I have created a special place for visitors to stay with their own private piece of rural Wales to enjoy.
