Wonderful, friendly hosts that make you feel right at home. You have complete independence and privacy. On top of everything else VFM was also 5 star !

We had a great two-night stay at The Annexe while visiting the University of Exeter open day. The location was easy to find and conveniently close to local amenities. Public transport was accessible, with a bus stop just a 5–10 minute walk away, or a 10-minute drive to the Park & Ride. The Annexe itself was spotless and spacious, with a comfortable living area, a clean and modern bathroom, and a cozy bedroom. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything I needed during my stay. Karen was an exceptional host—friendly, responsive, and attentive to anything we might need. I highly recommend The Annexe for anyone planning a visit to Exeter or Devon. It’s a perfect base for exploring the area and enjoying a peaceful getaway close to the city.

Robin's home is very clean and tidy. Although it was a bit of a walk from the free parking (I guess that can't be helped because the house is on the main road and the free parking is off the main road), once I was inside the home I was impressed, felt welcomed and at home. The bedroom is cosy, very clean and overlooks a beautiful well-looked after garden. The bathroom was clean with a nice shower. Robin was in constant communication from the day I booked until I arrived, provided all the necessary information especially available parking space. For what I paid for the room, I think the service far exceeded my expectations. I will definitely stay with Robin the next time I'm in Exeter.
