Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Stonewall

My wife and I planned a last minute trip to Fredricksburg for the Memorial Day weekend. We were hoping to stay in Fredricksburg, but everything was booked. We found Terry's place in Johnson City which is about 45 minutes east of Fredricksburg. It is very private area out in the Ranchland Hill Country. First off, the place is immaculately clean! Second you know you found a really nice place when your wife starts taking pictures of everything because she loves the style and décor! The check in instructions were very clear and concise. The place was very welcoming and relaxing. Terry left a very detailed notebook with suggested places to go, things to do, and places to eat. In the morning and evenings we saw deer on the property. We also saw several cardinals and other beautiful bird species. If you are looking for a nice relaxing get away and don't want the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place for you!

This is the BEST Airbnb we have stayed in with our dogs. The place has several open grassy areas where they were able to really run and play at full speed. The house is perfect as well - I have never seen a host more thoughtful about every little detail, even leaving the cutest toys and treats for our fur babies. The house was so comfortable, clean, and thoughtful and Amanda was such a sweet host. The sunrises are stunning and the stars are beautiful. A perfect place to get away and just slow down. We hope to be able to visit again for longer.

Mary and Ken’s wildlife ranch is hands-down the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. It’s private, serene, perfectly situated in hill country, just outside of Fredericksburg. The home itself has everything you need and is the best stocked Airbnb I have ever encountered. The wildlife was amazing… we easily counted over 60 wild deer each day coming and going, as well as wild hog, turkey, and many birds. As an Airbnb host this is the level of hosting I strive for… they have thought of everything and ensure that you are well looked after; they are kind and generous hosts. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone who is looking for a getaway away from the crowd, but close enough to go to town if you want to.

We had a girl’s trip to Fredericksburg and it was the PERFECT space for four of us girls. At first I was concerned because I felt like there weren’t enough pictures compared to other listings. But every picture that is on the listing, matches the house itself. All of the spaces were very clean and up to date. We loved the outdoor space, even though it was too hot for us to enjoy. I’d definitely want to stay here again for our next visit to Fredericksburg!

This is a great “get away” place. Private, clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Our host, Laura, provided us with a list of things to do; and they were great recommendations. Is about 10-15 minutes (driving/uber) from downtown Fredericksburg; so you have the choice to go downtown during the day and have a peaceful evening at this place. It’s relaxing, and you’ll connect with nature. Every day we saw deers, rabbits, and wild life (of course, a little far away from the place). If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place!!!! 💯 % recommended

The pictures don’t do justice to the beauty of the land and how cute the Susie is. The house is pristine and has everything you need for a peaceful time away from everything. Dripping Springs is 15 minutes away with many things to keep you occupied.

Adena has a true talent of making someone feel welcome and taken care of. Truly one of the best AirBNBs I’ve ever stayed in! Lives every minute of it. She has made a beautiful space and then shared it in such a wonderful way. Very grateful to her for allowing my husband and I to enjoy some peace and quiet together.

Beautiful and peaceful spot that feels very removed from Wimberley while still being 5 min from town. Terry was very communicative and helpful from the time we booked and through our stay. We would happily stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. it is very easy to go into town or visit vineyards in the country. Very quiet and peaceful.

Great historic hotel across from the town park. Host had exceeded our expectations with snacks, breakfast supplies, bottle water and juices and even fresh made cinnamon rolls in the fridge! We sat out on the balcony in the mornings for coffee (and the evenings for wine) and enjoyed the peaceful area. Even with a main road nearby we couldn’t hear anything in the place and slept really well.

This townhouse was located in a quiet neighborhood which was great for taking walks & seeing wildlife. The newly remodeled unit has a spacious open floor plan with a beautiful kitchen that was well equipped. The first floor is accessible with a master bedroom having a walk-in closet & beautiful bathroom with walk in shower. Upstairs there are additional bedrooms & full bath so this is a great space for a family get away. The beds were very comfortable & each bedroom has a TV. Good variety of restaurants in the area, some where you can watch the sunset on Lake LBJ but recommend making reservations. If you rather just relax there is small patio in the back with a nice BBQ grill. We were in the area visiting family for 10 days & appreciate having a wonderful place to stay that felt like home. Eugene is an outstanding host & very responsive. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

by far Georgia was the best host ever so hospitable so friendly so proactive to tell me about restaurants nearby and things to do. she went out of her way to make homemade cookies to welcome her and proactively was attentive to our needs and wants. by far so clean so beautiful so peaceful I loved every little bit of the experience I had there with my daughter it truly was a beautiful experience very well worth it and we got to see deer around the property other animals on the other side of the fence it was just beautiful and breathtaking. I strongly advise and encourage people to enjoy themselves here and the bed is just comfortable like no other the bathroom Tip Top with anything you could possibly need super clean same for the kitchen sadly we were not able to take advantage of the hot tub but it was very beautiful.

Shopkeepers in was beautifully designed, very comfy and with so many of us getting together for a family weekend it offered a great option -perfect location and we loved hanging out on the veranda for coffee in the morning and glass of wine in the evening Would definitely stay here again !

This place is gorgeous and offers the best of the hill country. Lisa and Scott were very welcoming, friendly and went above and beyond. We will definitely be back and have already recommended this place to friends. Couldn’t be happier. Thank you again to Lisa and Scott.

Great getaway stay. This was perfect for my partner and I. It had everything we needed and more. We truly did feel right at home, from the moment we opened the front door it just felt very welcoming. The backyard setup was a bonus, nice outdoor area with a tv! Another factor we really liked was the location, whether we drove or took an uber around Fredricksburg, everything was in pretty close proximity. It’s a nice, private cottage that makes you feel at home. Would definitely recommend!

Angela’s place was clean, comfortable, and a perfect fit for my weekend trip! I enjoyed the nice pool area, close access to Wimberley, and quiet property with deer and foxes.

Diana’s place was awesome. I was happily surprised there were spare batteries in the drawer when the batteries in the tv remote died. Diana went above and beyond with cute art, candles, lots of blankets, and a great Keurig.

We had a wonderful time at Erin’s place! It was exactly as described, spacious, and the surroundings are beautiful. Erin is a great host - we were particularly impressed with how well maintained and comfortable the house is. It’s also very close to the lake and the marina. It was an unforgettable father’s day weekend 😊!

We really enjoyed our stay at Rachel's place. It was very clean, conveniently close to things, and quiet. It looked just like the pictures. The shower was really good. The bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend.

Great quiet place really close to Main street which we loved. We were in town for three days and were able to see so much. Home had everything we needed!

Fredericksburg, TX is one of our frequent getaway destinations. We have had many experiences in various bed-and-breakfast in and around Fredericksburg. This is now one of two that we truly love. As a commercial pilot, I live in hotels and resorts, so I can say with experience that this one was one of the cleanest I have ever seen. I was pleasantly surprised with the fit and finish. Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in traumhafter, ruhiger Lage! Besonders gefallen hat uns die ruhige Umgebung und die Rehe, die bis an den Balkon gekommen sind, waren ein echtes Highlight. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl, die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und es ist wirklich alles da, was man braucht. Der Pool war top gepflegt und wurde täglich gereinigt, das ist uns sehr positiv aufgefallen. Bei Fragen oder kleinen Problemen war der Host sofort erreichbar und super hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen, absolute Empfehlung!
