The house is surrounded by a large garden with fruit trees and meadow. Trees provide shade in the heat. If you are looking for variety, you can reach Lübeck, Schwerin, Rostock in 1 hour and Hamburg in 1.5 hours via the A20. Travemünde or Boltenhagen can be reached via the Baltic Sea Cycle Route.

Der Heidepark Soltau, der Safari-Park in Hodenhagen, der Wild-Park Schwarze Berge in Rosengarten (Wilseder Berge) oder das Erlebnisbad Ronolulu in Rotenburg laden dich ein. Krummendeich is a great starting point for - whether to Duhnen, Otterndorf or the Altes Land, everything is easily accessible.
