The location is ideal for day trips: about 25 minutes to Lübeck, 40 minutes to Schwerin, 45 minutes to the Baltic Sea beach or 50 minutes to Hamburg City.

In October 2021, a detached house centrally located in Neumünster was renovated. The outlet center is only 3 minutes away. In about 40 minutes, you can reach Hamburg via the A7 or Kiel in 30 minutes. This old cosy cottage is located in the little village of Eckhorst, which means "Oak-forrest". Its just 7 km away from the City of Lübeck, its picturesque old town and romantical X-mas-Markets. The farming-house has 2 separate flats. While you stay e.g. downstairs in the farmers-flat with your family and the grandparents, your friends stay upstairs in the fully furnitured studio with a kitchen and a cosy little bath. There is plenty 2 see and 2 do in the region.The Baltic sea is 30 Min. away.

The nature reserve with a large playground, as well as the Holstentherme, are within walking distance. HH Airport is about 25 minutes by car.
