Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Syracuse

We loved this beautiful apartment, large bedroom and bathroom with great wooden ceilings. Lots of character with beautiful fixtures and fittings. Very comfortable bed. Great powerful and hot shower. Lots of lovely toiletries available to use together with some food and drinks supplied. Such a lovely touch to our stay. Shared balcony was great to sit on and have breakfast and drinks later on. Situated in a fabulous spot in Ortigia, right in the heart of everything, lots of bars and restaurants yet very quiet apartment. Host responds quickly to any questions.

Good location within walking distance to sites, shops and restaurants! Clean and modern. Nice view of marina from upstairs bedroom!! Marcello provided a great list of places to go to and see! Convenient parking nearby if you need it. When the construction out front ends, the walkway will be a welcome edition. Euros requested for the tourist tax so remember to have exact change.

Die Wohnung entsprach genau den Bildern, voller schöner und verrückter Details! Der Gastgeber war super freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Er gab uns viele Tipps, kümmerte sich sogar um unsere Autovermietung und bot einen tollen Shuttle-Service. Die Übergabe war persönlich, alles blitzsauber. Wir waren absolut zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder! Wir haben es geliebt 🥰

I dearly love Marco’s home which checks every box. Location is great! It’s like 3-minute walking to Train, Bus and Local Bus station which connect me to Noto, Modica and Fontane Bianche in sweat-free matter. Plus, there are multiple eatery options nearby like Onda Blue (love its Fasolari soooo much), Il Matto (affordable yummiest Pizza) and Fuori Ortigia (pretty good Calamari) and La dogana (sublime Carbonara). The house is clean and surprisingly silent from the noise I was worried upon staying in the house though it’s very near a transportation hub of the city. Air conditioner works well and so does shower. Most importantly, Marco himself is such a nice host. I do recommend his nice place.

Had pleasant moments staying in this apartment. Good surroundings, easy to reach transport connections, close to the old city center. The beautiful cost line is also nearby.

Beyond grateful for Carmelo and his beautiful home, offering us an ideal space in a fantastic location that felt central to everything that Ortigia has to offer. We loved the apartment and very much enjoyed our return to Siracusa/Ortigia after a number of years when not possible. Perfect location, near to the Market and sea front, wonderful restaurants and historical sites. Comfortable, excellent facilities, and Sebastiano a very helpful, good host. We stayed 2 nights and want to return again soon, both to Ortigia and the apartment. Highly recommended.

We loved staying in this apartment! Our host greeted us in person for check in and gave us lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The apartment was beautiful and clean, and the host was very responsive. We loved staying here!

Would definitely stay here again. Marisa was super kind and let us keep our bags at the apartment even after we checked out so we could walk around more. The apartment had a lovely balcony view as well. Great location.

Tolle Unterkunft in zentraler Lage, mitten in Ortigia, dennoch sehr ruhig, am Meer und eine sehr freundliche und zuverlässige Gastgeberin - wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Salvatore made us feel right at home in Ortigia. He reserved a parking garage for us on the island, set us up with a private boat tour company, and provided the best restaurant recommendations - we ended up going back to his first recommendation a second time before we left! He answered all of our questions incredibly quickly, assisted with the remote check in process, and was really committed to making sure we had a wonderful time in Ortigia. I recommend anyone traveling stay in this apartment - it’s beautiful, modern, clean, quiet, and close to amazing restaurants and the water. Even for folks who normally prefer hotels or are new to airbnb, Salvatore is more engaged and proactive than any concierge! Can’t wait to come back.

I absolutely recommend Sandra’s place, especially if you are arriving with a car. It was perfect for us to leave the car at the Talete and walk a few minutes to the accomodation. Very convenient not only to parking but also right next to the lively market, main square and plenty of restaurants and bars - we felt like it is in the best possible location within Ortigia. The bathroom was a little bit too small for our comfort but the flat’s other features made up for it. Sandra was also very helpful with everything and responded to all our questions day and night. If we ever get the chance to return to charming Ortigia, we would be happy to book this flat again!

Great location! Easy walk to Ortigia, which is absolutely gorgeous area all around! Airbnb apartment is beautiful and spacious. Regardless of its central location, we have not had much of any street noise and the nights were quiet. Highly recommend this place!

Casa molto accogliente e vivibile Le due terrazze (una al livello della casa ed una sul tetto) sono un plus eccezionale da cui vedere il tramonto, fare un aperitivo, una cena, o passare ora in totale tranquillità. Unica pecca (ma non dipende dall'alloggio): in tutta Ortigia è impossibile parcheggiare se non a pagamento.

Consigliato assolutamente: l’appartamento è arredato con gusto. È spazioso, pulitissimo ed ha tutto quello che è necessario. Si trova a pochi passi dal parcheggio, ma anche dal centro di Ortigia. Host gentilissima e sempre disponibile (anche se non abbiamo avuto bisogno per fortuna).

Fantastic 3 weeks at Francesco`s beautiful apartment - superbly located on Isola Ortigia, an absoultely spectacular place. Lively even during winter and a number of sights (Neapolis is a must!). Went to the food market for fish and greens and made dinner at home every other day or so. Otherwise a number of very good restaurants within a 500m radius. Breakfast and lunches on the spectacular terrase, short/t-shirt at least half the days (when in the sun) even during winter. Francesco was very helpful when we needed some minor assistance with heating and dishwasher. The heating system was the best I have every come across in Italy - water heated radiators, not only the usual A/C. All in ll - spotless!

Well located apartment in old building close to everything. Hosts were very kind. The apartment was very well equipped. Air conditioning worked well. Would recommend.

Unfortunately we were just able to stay there for one night, but would have love to stay longer… the location of the apartment was very good, free parking, directly in front of the building and in walking distance to Ortigia, which we enjoyed very much. Would recommend to stay there, everything was just great.

Marco was friendly and an excellent host and very fast in responding for our questions. He had some excellent restaurant recommendations in Ortigia and Syracuse. The apartment was very clean & tidy and had everything you might need. Great location to walk into Ortigia too or explore great local restaurants. Highly recommend

La casa di Alberto è più accogliente di presenza che nelle foto, è luminosa e silenziosa e dotata di ogni comodità che possa servire durante il soggiorno. Gli elettrodomestici funzionano perfettamente e l' host ha cura di mettere a disposizione i generi di prima necessità ( caffè, olio, acqua etc.), cosa di cui lo ringraziamo . La posizione consente di raggiungere con una breve passeggiata sia il Teatro Greco che Ortigia, quindi,una volta parcheggiato, si può scordare l' auto. Alberto inoltre è una persona molto simpatica e disponibile, ci ha accolto di persona e ci ha dedicato il suo tempo per le informazioni che ci occorrevano. Senza dubbio tornerei a prenotare la sua casa e la consiglio.
