We really enjoyed the comfort of this barn house with a wide view over the fields. Beautiful garden with seating area under a beautiful walnut tree. Very child-friendly. High chair and cot were already put away in the house. Markelo is within walking distance. Great for shopping. Delicious food at café de Kroon. If you had any questions, they were quickly answered. A top location !

I stayed with my two dogs for two nights at Maaike and Erik's apartment. The apartment is very pretty and lovingly furnished. We felt very comfortable. Maaike and Erik are very warm and helpful as hosts🙂. Hank, the farm dog, is a very cheerful fellow and the free-range🐔, simply beautiful.

Marieke and Mark were super hosts. Everything was clean and tidy when I arrived. They give you all the privacy and are also very helpful when needed. Even when I forgot something, it was super resolved. The space itself is also very nice. You have your own garden and the interior is cozy and tidy. Highly recommendable!

What a lovely house. Everything has been thought of. Beautiful complete kitchen, beautiful bathroom with a nice and sparkling clean sauna. Comfortable beds and great that the windows have screens. It is located in a quiet and beautifully landscaped park. Close to the center where there is plenty to do. It is also nice that you can go from the park to the nearby lake. The garden with neat furniture completes the house. We'd love to come back!

Our stay at the apartment was absolutely wonderful. We felt at home the moment we arrived. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, yet just a short 5-minute walk from the lively town center. Damien was an outstanding host - always attentive and ready to help whenever we needed anything. Thank you again for making our stay so enjoyable. We would love to come back someday!

It was really a lovely cottage, I am 19 myself and I was there with my boyfriend so it was nice to have that independence. The only thing that was a bit more difficult was the lamps. We didn't quite understand it and we struggled with it for a while. Personally, I also missed some larger mugs, they were quite small. But otherwise great. definitely recommended. Also very sweet people :)

The Blue House is really something very special. Mieke and Arnold have decorated it very nicely and it is perfectly equipped! I immediately felt very comfortable and enjoyed my stay very much! If I ever come back to Giethoorn, I will definitely want to stay here again 🥰

It was just great! One of the most beautiful accommodations we have visited so far. With so much attention to detail, Janet and Auke have created a feel-good oasis that leaves nothing to be desired. A wonderful place to relax, recharge your batteries and enjoy both the beautiful home and the surroundings to the fullest. The Airbnb had a loft look with all the comforts. We felt right at home and the hosts were very friendly, definitely recommended!

We spend a weekend in Robert's place. It was very peaceful and beautiful in the middle of an awesome location for hiking and biking. They provided everything we needed for our stay. We will gladly book this place next time we are in the area.

Recommended for a weekend getaway to Deventer, this apartment has its own garden, a kitchen and a living room and bedroom. With a supermarket 100 meters away to fill your fridge. A 10-minute walk from the beautiful historic center. The facilities in the apartment were very good, a nice bed and everything was very clean. We'll definitely be back!

I was looking for a place for my friend where we could have a nice time and go fishing. The apartment was even more beautiful than in the photos and the hostess was so incredibly sweet. We couldn't have done better. An incredibly beautiful environment. Great people and everything within walking or cycling distance. We would be happy to come back again 😍
