Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Valle Crucis

This was the nicest and cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Jeff and Bunny checked in on us and were very responsive. It took our breath away from the moment we turned into the driveway. Very close to Boone and West Jefferson which was great. We were also able to bring our pups which was a huge bonus! We were not ready to leave. We will be going back soon!!

We loved our stay at this beautiful house! It is the most well kept and stocked Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. We had everything we needed and more. Plus the beautiful creek and surroundings made for a great stay!

Absolutely gorgeous location and the amenities were fantastic. Sadly we only stayed a single night but we enjoyed every part of the house. My wife and daughter were enamored by the creek and outdoor experience even though a flash rainstorm prevented us from experiencing it after dinner. Great place we recommend it!

We had the most wonderful stay here while celebrating our daughter Presley’s second birthday in the mountains! From the moment we walked in, it felt like a home away from home, immaculately clean, thoughtfully decorated, and perfectly cozy for a family with a toddler in tow! The location was ideal for our weekend adventures, just minutes from Tweetsie Railroad and other charming spots in Boone and Blowing Rock. After long days of fun, it was such a gift to return to a peaceful, quiet space where Presley could rest comfortably and safely. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the host went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. If you’re looking for the perfect spot to relax, reconnect, and enjoy all that the mountains have to offer, this is the one!

Pie in the sky was perfect for our family of 5! The views were absolutely incredible. It had everything we needed to cook, relax and stay for the weekend. Our family has stayed at dozens of Airbnb’s and this was one of our favorites. Highly recommended!

This is our second time staying at Marta’s. I have never stayed at an Air BnB with such attention to fine detail. The beds are extremely comfortable, pristinely cleaned, beds and linens are always well made. It has a lot of charm and feels just like home. Our boys love the porch swing and we get to be close to family. Great spot and a better bargain!

Kelly and Caleb’s vacation home was an absolute dream for our family! We had the best time and were able to enjoy some peace and quiet and we also enjoyed exploring surrounding areas. The home was cozy, clean, and peaceful.. I loved that it was family friendly!! Thank you both for allowing us to stay!

It is very cozy for a short stay. It is about 14 minutes to Grandfather Mountain. Great communicating with Amy prior arrival, she greeted us at the entrance.

This was my first stay at an Airbnb, and it was lovely and peaceful. I instantly felt right at home and recommend it for anyone looking to stay in Mountain City. Debbi was a wonderful host!

Sabrina was an excellent host and left no questions unanswered! She also had good recommendations. The Cocoon was just as cozy and quaint as the pictures, and we will absolutely be booking again to use the sauna come winter time! I recommend this place for anyone who is traveling with 1-2 people and would like to be within close range of King St!

This place was perfect for what we needed on our mini-vacation to Boone! We would book again next time we are in town.

Jason was extremely accommodating for us, helping us with our booking dates and went above and beyond to make sure we had the dates that we needed. Jason was very responsive and proactive. The location is right in the heart of downtown Boone and was perfect walking distance to campus and plenty of places to eat. Really has made our stay in Boone perfect. Would absolutely recommend booking this location!

We always enjoy staying here! It’s our go-to place on Beech Mountain. Super-comfortable beds. We love sitting on the balcony and watching the deer while we have coffee in the morning. Michelle is a gracious host and an excellent communicator. Thanks again for another great stay!

We had a great stay at Susan’s place! A lovely home and perfectly walkable to King Street. Would definitely recommend, we were comfortable and cared for as the home had everything we needed!

Simon and Julia are super helpful and kind. The place was just as expected, kitchen was fully equipped, everything was clean - and beautiful views. You can hear the neighbors pretty clear upstairs - but you can’t do much about that - plus it was disclosed in the listing. So overall I give 5 stars to Julia and Simon because THEY were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - super responsive, I will definitely be returning ❤️ p.s. my bro forgot his wallet in the bnb after we checked out and there was absolutely no issue going back to find it - they are a delightful couple.

The view was beautiful! And it was a cozy stay and very close to sugar mountain ski resort! Which we loved! It even snowed the first two days and last day and it was beautiful the snow was so fluffy! Also as a housekeeper myself the place was freshly clean! :)

Kyle was helpful and responsive. The place was very clean and the decorations were beautiful. My friend and I had a girl’s weekend and wanted different rooms (because we like to sleep in opposite temperature) and this fit us perfectly. We each had our own bathroom and the beds were very comfy. It was nice to have a kitchen and laundry option too. The directions were easy and Banner Elk is a 5 minute walk. The best part was the 180 degree view! I miss it already and didn’t want to leave! There were deer outside our window both days so that was a bonus. We would stay here again for sure!

I had a wonderful stay and a wait to come back ! The place was very cute and quaint, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking — the views alone made it worth the trip. The location was perfect, close to everything I wanted to explore. Being able to soak in the hot tub and use the sauna after all day hiking was fabulous. My host was incredibly helpful and responsive, which made the experience even better. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area

I can not say enough about this beautiful little gem in the woods! It was so well decorated and all the little thoughtful additions, like a bag of local coffee and heated bed covers were just perfect and exactly what I needed for this get away to reconnect with myself and nature. I barely left the condo, because the view was so spectacular and how cozy the home felt! I was visited by a bunch of different birds on the cute patio where I painted a few of them as I sipped coffee and just listened to the breeze ruffle the leaves or rain shower that softly fell! Definitely hope to return very soon!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and had a wonderful time! The condo was in a great location, close to restaurants and stores. The back porch was by far my favorite part of the house. We can’t wait to visit again.

Fabby's place was awesome! It's a perfect one bedroom, one bath AirBnb with a pull-out couch. It was completely stocked with whatever we needed and was super clean and comfortable. The surroundings were beautiful- what gorgeous views we had! The covered outdoor porch is huge and perfect for hanging out and enjoying the outdoors. Fabby was very responsive and flexible with our checkout time, which I really appreciated. We were allowed to have our 2 small dogs there, which was great. I would highly recommend staying there. It was amazing!!
