Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Valparaiso

My wife and I have stayed at many vacation home rentals over the years, this one was one of the very best! First, I booked they house late afternoon on the day we wanted to arrive. Sarah responded immediately, accepted our booking and got me the access code to the property. It was all done within a few minutes! The house was beautifully decorated (my wife loved it and she is a designer!), well appointed and located very conveniently to all of the places we wanted to spend our time. We loved the hot tub, used the sauna almost every morning and our Golden Doodle loved the big fenced in back yard. Sarah and Brady are unbelievably responsive to needs too! One evening we wanted to enjoy the fire pit, but they were out of fire starters. I contacted Sarah at 7:36p, she responded at 7:37p and by 7:51 Brandy had already dropped a box of fire starters on the front porch! What?!?!?! Amazing. I HIGHLY recommend this place, we will be back!

An absolutely beautiful stay! Many amenities to make it a comfortable stay! Beautifully decorated! Comfortable bed! Wonderful nights spent n the relaxing hot tub! Enjoyed a great fire pit one night too. Loved the private beach-so peaceful and relaxing! Looking forward to coming back!

Eileen was a great host! The space was beautiful and plenty for my husband and our two kids. She was extremely responsive and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. Highly recommend if you’re looking to stay in Michigan City!

Michael has a great place that is very close to the Indiana Dunes. His directions for how to find the house were easy to follow. It was perfect place to be with my small dog and husband for a weekend away. It had everything you might need for meals in, spaces were well cleaned and well taken care of. We appreciated the small touches that were available to us. The train noise that was mentioned in previous reviews is not noticeable unless you’re outside. I don’t think we heard it at all indoors.

Great private space on a quiet street. Lots of breweries and restaurants a quick drive away. Amenities were just as described and the space is in great condition.

This was ur second stay at Andrew’s and it didn’t disappoint. He worked with us last minute to make a reservation so we had somewhere to stay. A friend of ours passed away and we didn’t have a lot of planning time. We love that the place has a pack n play, high chair, and some kids toys & dishes. Things like that make a stay with children much smoother. Thanks again for another great experience.

We had a great time at this Airbnb! It was clean and spacious (especially for two people, but would be perfect for a small family) and was a quick-ish drive to everything we wanted to do. It was easy to find and felt safe, with everything we needed. There was an issue with the internet, but the owner resolved it immediately (VERY responsive and so nice!), and she even gave us lots of recommendations for fun things to do in the area. The king-sized bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Perfect for crashing after a long day at the beach. We hope to come back soon!

I was looking for a cozy spot with a jacuzzi for a weekend celebration for my husband’s birthday and it was so much more than that. Carlo was super helpful with recommendations and quick to respond back. Such a great area to walk around and explore. We loved staying here and are looking to book later again this year!

Irene and Martin were very helpful and friendly. The place was cute and clean. It was exactly what I needed, peace and relaxation. The beach was a three minute walk and it wasn’t crowded. We brought firewood and outside by the fire pit there’s nice furniture and it feels like you’re in a little woodland area with nobody around.

It was very well maintained, and the apartment felt very peaceful. The area is also very nice, everything you could need is within 10 minutes walking distance.

Cute apartment, close to downtown Bridgman. Check in and out was very easy. Larry was communicative. I would definitely stay there again.

The Neighborhood Hotel is located in a fantastic spot in New Buffalo, making it super easy to park in your assigned parking spot and walk everywhere downtown. The property is beautifully finished inside and out, and the A/C works great. There are lots of community outdoor space with different seating moments to accomidate your needs. The only issue we had was that the wifi was very spotty/did not work on the first day of our stay throughout the property, but it worked great on the second day. Overall I would recommend this property as a great hybrid hotel/AirBnB rental for anyone looking to explore New Buffalo!

Stayed for 5 nights while attending a conference at ND – excellent location and easily walkable to the university. Quiet neighborhood, and a short walk for groceries, etc. The kitchen space is a highlight – well stocked with pots, pans, etc. for cooking at home and a nice stove/oven. Comfortable dining table area doubled as an office – plenty of space for two laptop setups and excellent wifi service. Living room area was perfect for reading as well – and lots of light in the front room. Great shower, water pressure, etc. – and the fan in the bedroom kept it cool for sleeping, even on a couple warmer nights. The outdoor space is a real perk – fire pit was very simple to use and a pleasant atmosphere with the outdoor lighting. A short ride from the Amtrak station, and convenient to both the university area and other points of interest in the city. Great communication from host, simple keypad access, and no difficulties at all during my time. Would absolutely stay here again!!

We had an awesome long weekend at Morton's Retreat. We loved visiting Three Oaks and Sawyer, and going on a few short hikes nearby. We especially loved grabbing drinks at the Historian. The Airbnb is on a busy road, but there is a bike path that runs by it and it's a short walk to Luisa's Swedish bakery, which was excellent. The place was clean and even a bit larger than we expected. Great for a relaxing long weekend.

We had an amazing time! Me and my boyfriend stayed for one night, the patio and dock were super cozy and we really enjoyed sitting out there at night just listening to music and having some drinks. Super nice area, the beach isn't too far and they have some fun bars and restaurants in the area. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

We had a fabulous time! It was the perfect spot for a quiet and peaceful getaway. Patti was so kind and responsive - a perfect host. There were many spots to sit and enjoy the view. We loved the fire pit and were so grateful that it was all set and ready to use. I could go on and on about how wonderful it was. We highly recommend it!!! We will definitely be back!

Let me start out by saying, the pictures honestly don’t do the cabin enough justice! I hosted a small, lowkey bachelorette party and the cabin truly made the trip. Totally exceeded my expectations with space, uniqueness, and authentically rustic yet chic!

Our family loves coming to this cabin. It is a wonderful place to stay with the great amenities such as the pond stocked with fish, the fire pit, grill, and walkable trails. It is such a nice place to stay and relax in the outdoors with the comfort of a cozy clean cabin to enjoy.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home tucked away in a peaceful rural setting. The house was full of charm and character, and the surrounding mature woods made it feel like a true escape. It's conveniently located near Three Oaks and New Buffalo, both of which offered plenty of great activities, dining, and local charm. Our dogs loved the space just as much as we did—especially the nearby dog beach! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and pet-friendly getaway.

We had a wonderful stay! We hiked the dunes and enjoyed beach time. Both were a short drive away. It was private and comfortable, kind of like glamping. Our kids loved the games and books in our down time. Beds were comfortable, and the house really had everything you needed. Beach toys, chairs and bikes were very much appreciated. This was the second property of Hannah’s I stayed at during my getaway. The location was secluded and perfect for those looking for some isolation. The house was very clean and adorably decorated. Hannah was also incredibly considerate in her communication and provided a seamless check-in and check-out process. I can’t wait to visit again!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was clean and cozy, exactly what we were looking for. The hot tub was relaxing and the bed was super comfy. We had a hard time getting the gas fireplace working, but Jeremiah and Tracey responded quickly and we got it going easily with further instruction.
