The bungalow for your own use is located directly on the Lehenhüttl pond in an absolutely quiet location and, together with the owners' house, belongs to the buildings in the meadow that are worth preserving. There are no neighbors (single location). The beautiful town of Jaidhof with a castle and recreational pond is about 500 m away. Krems an der Donau is about 18 km away. The town of Gföhl with shops and restaurants is 1 km away. At the Krumau reservoir (10 km), you have the opportunity for a boat trip.

Time out from everyday life

Everyone is welcome!! Comfort and relaxation in the LOG CABIN on the forest clearing. Dogs are also welcome. Breakfast is included. For NÖ-Card owners, but also without a card, we are very centrally located to various excursion destinations such as Sonnentor, Noah's Ark, Kittenberg adventure gardens and much more. Winter lock from 7.1 to February. February to Easter holidays restricted operation. The house lives, so noises (e.g. wooden worm) and animal visits (e.g. ladybugs) are possible.

Accommodation: Our historic house from the 15th century is located in a quiet location in the old town of Krems / Donau-Stein. The approx. 30m2 apartment is located directly in Stein's old town - an ideal location for a visit to the various museums close by or a day trip with one of the many ships up the Danube valley - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In addition, the vibrant city centre of Krems with its coffee shops, confectionaries and bars and the Campus Krems are within walking distance.

Our old, former farmhouse is located in Burgschleinitz, a pretty village with a medieval moated castle, Romanesque church, Gothic ossuary and lots of nature between the forest and wine district near Eggenburg. Bicycles, e-bikes, canoes, kayaks, fireplace, grill, sand playground, table tennis and sauna. And Josephsbrot, perhaps the best bakery in Austria with a cafe. We look forward to it! Another two people can stay on the sofa bed. The property is ideal for a wide variety of excursions: the Wachau, Krems or the Waldviertel. But the capital Vienna is also just an hour away.

Due to the positive experiences as Airbnb hosts, we converted the smallest barn on our property into a tiny house in 2020-2022. We planned and built everything ourselves and hope our guests will feel comfortable and enjoy their time in Krems and the Wachau!
