A relaxing vacation awaits you in a uniquely located and cozy vacation home in Eisenach at the foot of Wartburg. The accommodation offers you a quiet place to relax with stunning views of the valley. Due to the ideal location, it is the starting point for all tourist and cultural highlights in Eisenach (Wartburg, Lutherhaus, Bachhaus, etc.). The hiking trails to the Dragon Gorge and Rennsteig are right outside the front door. There are two parking spaces available.

The cottage is located in a new development area, Gerstungen OT Lauchröden, on the border of Hesse/Thuringia. It is about 1 km to the former border area. A playground for the children is right across from the house. Directly in the village is the Werra, where canoeing can be done. There are several canoe operators in the area and in the village. Great hiking and biking trails to Brandenburg (about 3 km away) or the famous Wartburg in Eisenach (about 15 km away).

Our café serves breakfast weekdays from 6 AM and on weekends from 7 AM.
